February 13th, 2014 01:07 PM #445Because Chevrolet is following what some of the premium European brands have been doing. Those brands are actually using donut tires as spare tires of their vehicles. I can't understand why make the donut spare tire a big deal. You won't be able to use it 98% of the time. You'll just use it if one of your tires got flat and you need to drive to the nearest vulcanizing shop.

February 13th, 2014 08:54 PM #448Noted. But take note even in the TBCP forum it is mentioned, 4x2 MT has better City driving mileage, 10-11km/L and the TB 4x2 MT version has a smaller 2.5 engine. That's why I prefer it over the 4x4 LTZ. I can only wish that Chevrolet release a TOTL version with a 2.5 engine.

February 14th, 2014 02:23 AM #449That's because it has a smaller displacement that the 2.8L engine thus it has a better FC. Take note that I compared the FC of my TrailB LTZ to that of Mitsubishi's 2.5L 4D56 VGT and non VGT engine. And IMO, the FC of the 2.8L Duramax Diesel engine is also ok. City driving for the 2013 version averages around 7.5-9.5 km/L. The 2014 version is said to be significantly more fuel efficient due to improved ECU programming and quicker transmission shifting, aside from being more powerful and torquier than the 2013 version. Some of TBCPh's members told me that they average around 8.5-10.5 km/L (4x4) and 9.0-11.3 km/L (4x2 A/T) city driving.

February 14th, 2014 02:36 AM #450Manual transmissions will usually be more efficient than AT. The biggest factor is driving style, then of course the TB has a more modern engine.
Given the TB LTZ, TB Manual Transmission, 2.5 Strada non VGT, and MS GTV all loaded with the same amount of fuel and you leave them all idling side by side, most likely TB LTZ will run out of fuel first (unless the GTV is a 3.0). Then the rest will follow close to each other. I dont believe any of them have engine start/stop functions.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
