Questions:
1. yung last row of seats front folding ba siya o side folding?
2. How much ang comprehensive insurance (with AOG) ng Trailblazer? required ba ng dealers na sa kanila ang insurance o pwede sa labas? Any recommended insurance company?
Thanks!
kaya the more reason to be careful, those high end specs like hill assist park assist are American ekek na pinakabit sa Thai-made SUVs na obviously kaya naman talaga sa Thailang ginawa eh kse nga those specs won't pass with the Americans tapos ganyan ka cheap price.
The North American version of this is manufactured in brazil for the developing nations in that region

Looking at the cut-away picture above ... sana winterpine can bring in yung false flooring dun sa dulo ng seats (between third row and trunk lid).
*numbah5, just browsing for next car options for my dad. hehe. actually waiting for the 3.2 wildtrak 6at.
*steer, based on the chevy thailand website, the 18s are sized 265/60/18. there is a significant difference between the 16s and 18s when it comes to overall diameter of the tire (16s-29.50 in, 18s-30.51 in). this accounts for the difference in ride height. if you use 265/50/20 tires the overall diameter would be 30.43 in, close to the 18s na.
With the mentioned tire size using 20s, you can take your car anywhere pa din. Hindi siya low profile. cornering will be better because of the shorter sidewall. Tire price halos the same. More tire choices and easier to source 20s compared to 18s.![]()
The new Trailblazer was not developed in North America because the market there for compact trucks and compact/mid-size truck-based SUVs is shrinking (people there are moving to lighter crossover SUVs or CUVs).
Those safety features are also found on european cars & SUVs.
PS: The Colorado (from which the Trailblazer is based on) got a 5-star ANCAP rating
* "ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) began testing and assessing vehicles in accordance with the Euro NCAP protocols during 1999."
The Ford Ranger got a 5-star EuroNCAP rating

Eh? I don't get it. Aren't traction control, electronic stability, hillstart assist, etc. exactly the features that Americans want? Explorer has those...
When Explorer came in at P2.5M with those features, a lot of buyers were pretty happy. I'd imagine that a diesel SUV with all of those features at P1.7M would make even more people happy...more features for less money.
I don't think there's North American version of Trailblazer, they have the Traverse in that class. But definitely in Central and South America, the Trailblazer will be sold.
It kinda does in a way but imagine a Fortuner that's longer, wider, taller... :-)
( L x W x H x Clearance )
Trailblazer 4878 x 1902 x 1848 x 241
Fortuner 4705 x 1840 x 1850 x 221
Montero 4695 x 1815 x 1840 x 215
Everest 5062 x 1788 x 1826 x 210
Got this from DTS Phil's facebook site
I don't know who owns this LTZ but he got her new shoes. Very nice :-)

Ang laki neto sa Montero. Sa Montero na nga nalalakihan na ako nun-drive ko eh, tas mabigat din ibyahe sa tagaytay though di naman simbigat nun parusa ko na strada 2nd gen. Tsk tsk, pang-driver car eto.
I parked my friend's side by side with my SF, liit SF mas lapad lang. Pero nun pi-nark ko na yun Montero ng friend ko after overnight tagaytay trip at pinaandar ko na SF ko, wow sobrang gaan ng SF.
