hi, why is it ''bad'' that its a chevy? really wanted to know, ive been asking around about chevy here in manila and havent yet gotten a straight answer...

Chevy dealers have a bad service reputation. At least that's the feedback I got here when I was considering buying the Aveo last year

It's okay to give feedback, may it be positive or negative, however, I just noticed that it is a one way street for some of those who gave some comments here.

Some of us do own a chevy car and I guess it is just proper to make "hinay-hinay" lang sa pagbitaw ng salita kasi ang labas "PANINIRA" lang eh.

Paano kaya kung punta din tayo sa ibang thread tapos SIRAAN din natin ang kanilang mga kotse kahit we don't own one?

Let us be FAIR! Afterall, we bought our car because we love it! Kung may flaws man ang mga Chevy cars namin, well he have learned to accept it. Parang ganito lang yan eh - kapag nagmahal ka balewala na ang nakaraan at tanggap mo na kung sino man yong minahal mo.

Agree - I posted my question to hear both good and bad comments so ok lang kung negative. Would prefer though from someone who "fell in love" with a chevy and then discovered a couple flaws here and there that I want to know about.

Have heard enough from car expert friends about "bakit hindi ka na lang bumili ng vios" or "buy a second hand civic instead" kasi ang point nga is I liked the way the chevy looks and feels - ang dealbreaker lang ay kung may history siya na sumasabog or hindi tumitigil - or kung dadalawa lang ang dealer sa manila or something. Really just wanted to know. The parts and service cost is a good point and will look into that, pero hindi naman siya dealbreaker...company naman magbabayad ng maintenance eh. Hehe

It's under new management (TCCCI). The Chevy Motorama at MOA was awesome. Chevy car owners were given VIP seats at the PyroMusical display last Saturday and were treated with popcorns, hotdogs, drinks and a first class view of the fireworks display between Portugal and the defending champion, UK.

Nasabi ko na ito noon, Cruze was not even on my shortlist then napadaan lang ako sa isang dealer that I decided to check it, test driven it... then woalahhhhhh.... tapos na ang usapan......

haha ako rin I was still having the hyundai i10 vs kia picanto debate with myself, eh may chevy dealer on the way that i just thought id check out. wala pa ngang spark on display, i just asked the guy if they have a mini version of the aveo still available this year..then he showed me the spark photo and said its launching pa lang this feb. ang ganda nung picture <3

when i saw it ''in person'' it didnt disappoint. hindi siya ''lata'' feel, looks awesome, medyo mukhang ''fisher-price'' lang sa loob with the plasticy parts of the dashboard (buti na lang may parang carbon fiber part) - and the seats are parang malabong material. pero thats why you buy car seat covers.

kaya nga ang concern ko na lang ay kung may product recall ba ito, or all around SAFETY issues. as per feelings, and look, oks na. test drive na lang.

Someone asked me a question why people don't like Chevrolet in general I gave them the answer... Totoo naman diba? Bakit nga ba a lot of people don't like Chevrolet and the sales prove it. Worse non-luxury brand in terms of sales even worse than Nissan...

And for those asking if I ever owned a Chevrolet. Thank God I haven't cause if I did I would have experienced what my cousin had with their Optra... Malakas sa gas, pretty much sa dealer ka na aasa for those non-replacement parts and ang tagal nila madala dito sa Pilipinas... A best friend was also not satisfied with their Venture van. Overheat dito, overheat dyan. Ang takaw pa sobra sa gas tapos gawa sa ginto ang parts na mabilis masira...
