sadly kasama ako dun. never ever run the fishpond or fish cage by a remote control. mabilis na ang marketing, you will be surprise ang daming tumatwag sayo asking how much yung fish mo.
That's quite true. Next to pollution problems in some areas, the real cause of failure is not being there to manage on-hand. Even with a trained and trusted farm manager, my dad had a hard time with his fish ponds since he had to be in Manila often.

from harvest to market ang ginagawa nya.
kaya ang laki ng kinikita nya ngayon.

Tilapia replaced GG as the poor man's fish. Those people breeding tilapia is hitting it bigtime indeed.

Engaged in this type of biz. Starting pa lang and learning the ropes.
Too many risk factor.. baha, peste, security etc.

Depende ano aalagaan mo - sugpo needs good dissolved oxygen so kailangan ng way to oxygenate the water. TIlapia has a high tolerance sa low dissolved oxygen vs bangus....so kahit wala na,

pero do most pond operators use some sort of filtration?

i'm currently into fishkeeping kasi, and i've read a lot about pond filtration -- ornamental ponds that is. Just curious if the same technology is being used for commercial ponds, or would be more economical to just change the water every once in a while.
