Just want to share my bad experience with HT-610 door lock controller.

HT-610 will work normally upon installation. But after few months components inside the HT-610 will deteriorate due to wrong component layout. You will have intermittent lock/unlocking problem of car door. You will found out that gear of actuator will be broken due to intermittent continuous driving of its dc motor. Normally, door lock controller should turn on driving motor for half a second only to avoid damaged to actuator gear.

Just want to share to avoid car actuator damaged, electrical wiring overheating and possibly fire.

Yun pala switch sa loob ng actuator ( Door driver side ) for toggle of unlock and lock.

He he he.

Hmm good advice bro. A bit scary knowing that it could possibly cause fire. When dealing with locks I always call an emergency locksmiths greenwich because they know exactly what to do when it comes to locks. Get them to look inside and diagnose the problem if the owner/driver doesn't know how to.

How much usually is the dc motor?
