immobilizer -- for instance in the case of bimmers, you can only start the car using the car supplied by bmw...if you insert a key copied by a third party say mr. quickie, the car won't start..i think there's a microchip or something within the key that makes a confirmation that what is inserted is indeed the original key

afaik, kahit i-hot wire ni carnapper yung auto mo basta may immobilizer di magsta-start yun...
