car alarm: anong maganda ngayon?

ako rin code alarm, di ko alam kung nagloloko or di lang ako marunong gumamit. Parang sobrang sensitive I have to keep it in valet mode or kung hindi sobrang ingay kapag iniwan mo lang. It's a 97 civic lxi.

Sometimes when I try to lock it after leaving the car (using remote, "ARM"), ayaw. Kahit anong lapit ko. Ganun din kapag DISARM. I have to manually use the key to lock & unlock the car. Pero may minsan (bihira) na gumagana naman siya ng tama, kahit medyo 3-4 cars away pa ako, when I press DISARM, it works. Do I just have to replace the battery or is something really wrong?

When I first bought it last week, di naman siya maingay. Then one time I tried to ARM it and it didn't work.. so medyo experimentally pindot pindot lang ako nung alarm while still inside & outside the car but I couldn't figure it out. Then I figured out where the valet switch & programming button was and tried pressing those... Eto na ang nangyari, maingay na, laging nag aalarm, konting trip lang tunog agad..

Yung car alarm ko, it has an auto lock feature (I read the manual!). Yun ata yung sinasabi mo quiksie, yung naglolock mag isa after 1 minute or so.

what brand does have all these features? or most of the features you mentioned? mahal siguro ano? yung nakakabit kasi sa kin e walang alarm, basta auto-lock/unlock lang ang function niya. i guess it needs some adjustment, dalhin ko na lang sa shop. cobra ang nakatatak sa remote.

kanina dala ko pajero namin, may nakasabay ako pajero din tapos nagtataka ako bakita iniwan ng owner na nakabukas yun ride niya. After a minute nag auto shutdown yun sasakyan sabay lock yun pajero niya. Hindi ko napansin kung same ang chirp ng alarm namin. Tinignan ko agad sa manual kung meron feature yun sa amin. Parang meron pero hindi ko magets hehe. Code alarm ang alarm system ng pajero namin

Madali ba i-DIY ang pagkabit ng car alarm???? bibili kasi ako dahil ala me garahe sa subd namin. Nanakawan ng ng gulong ang jeep ko noon baka yung kotse ko naman ang mapag-tripan ng mga loko-lokong magnanakaw.

Venom ang gamit ko sa Vitara. Pinalagay ko ignition kill. Around 2k all in. A good basic system.

Para sa kin d best pa din ang GSM car alarm. Remotely u can disarm/arm, unlock/lock and immobilize/mobilize it kahit malayo ka pa. Not only It can send reports to u via text of the status of ur car, pwede din magamit ung Telco's finder system nila if u want to locate ur car.

baka yung alarm nya yung may engine start functionality? yung kaibigan ko may ganong klaseng alarm at alam ko dapat mag off yung engine thru the alarm eh....im not very sure though....

Sabi dun sa manual ko ng Viper300 at Viper800, authorized dealer ang pwede magre-program. Walang mention ng DIY reprogramming, eh.

Masyadong generic 6 tones, parang yung sa mga tricycle na wang wang. Sana nga pwede reprogram.

Anybody knows an authorized dealer to do Viper siren re-programming?

Well, para sa mga mahilig mag-DIY, I was able to install a car alarm for my corolla. Mahirap na madali pala magkabit (took me one day hehehehe). Ang importante alam mo kung saan mo i-install yung main module, sensor at kung saan mo itatago yung power line sa kotse. ;)

to venom car alarm owners,

nagpakabit ako recently.
yung feature na flashing lights when door is open, ma trigger ba talaga yun kahit off makina? ganun kasi sa kin

sa vitara nga namin meron pang beep-beep, mga 14-15 sec din. medyo naiiilang lang ako.

Sa Vitara din nakalagay yung Venom namin

Flashing lights is a feature whether engine is on or off. Around 30 seconds yun.

Yung beep beep is not a feature of the alarm. It is the Vitara's headlamp-on warning buzzer that gets triggered when the parklamps flash.

follow up question lang, pag yung pinto sa likod and binuksan wala flashing lights.
Na try ko rin hindi nag-aalarm kahit naka arm. may mali kaya sa kabit?
