Yes sir. As long as 5V and at least 2000mAh ung powerbank output, and you have the correct connector[emoji1].

Edit: I can charge mine sa USB port ng laptop so 100mA charger might work.

Depende sa connectors sir. Most powerbanks have micro USB cables while most (if not all) Garmins have mini USB charging ports. I have both the nuvi 960 an nuvi 2565, pareho silang mini USB. Ewan ko lang sa latest models sir. Kung pasok naman yung connectors ng powerbank mo sir, pwede dapat yan

You can charge a Garmin with a powerbank using stock cable. However, using the stock cable will make the Garmin go into PC connection mode. It won't do if you're planning on using the Garmin for navigation while connected in this way.

One of the pins in the oem Garmin car charger mini usb connector is wired differently so it doesn't go into pc connection mode. You can search for it with Google. You'll have to modify your usb cable in the same way if you plan on navigating while connected to a powerbank.

Most units sir, will ask you if you want to go PC mode or navi mode upon plugging in sa micro USB. Mine does.

It's good that Garmin changed the behaviour with the newer units with micro usb port. I have two older units with a mini usb port and they do not give you a choice.

Pwede pa yan sir. Yung isang nuvi ko is 960 (which seems older than yours), nagana pa naman sya. Depende siguro sa map na tinutukoy nya yun. Marami din naman maps dyan like openstreetmap or roadguide. Need lang maging contributor sa roadguide to gain access to the comprehensive map.

It should work here in our country with the right local map.

If it has an SD slot then, it should be better. You just copy the map in the SD card.

Some proprietary maps are unit-specific though. Meaning it will only work on a specific unit with specific serial number and can not be copy-pasted to another unit even if they are the exact model. I am referring to roadguide's map. There is an alternative, search for OSM-PH map. That one is a legally free downloadable map. Roadguide is free also but in order to get the latest map, you need to have a contributors status first.

Openstreetmap.org.ph/garmin. You need to download the mapsource installer and connect your garmin.
