    I used Mapsource when I 1st downloaded OSM. Same link lang pala for the update. Thanks very much.

    download the compressed gmasupp.img to your pc. unzip the file and transfer this to the sd card of your garmin device. make sure to back up the original one.

    Copy-paste it to your device. Be sure to first backup the original gmapsupp.img in your device....

    need help guys. i'm using nuvi 255 and currently use the free map from roadguide. i already downloaded the osm map and save it in the external SD card. how will i switch my map from roadguide to osm map? do i need mapsource to do the swtich or pwede na straight from the nuvi 255? thanks.

    ^ straight from nuvi ... iirc, its on settings/map/info, you would see check marks on enabled maps, uncheck/check the map you want to disable/enable

    As previously mentioned on this thread, RoadGuide overrides OSM so make sure to switch from one over to another depending on which location has better POI's.

    you mean i really need to replace the "gmapsupp.img" of Roadguide if i want to use OSM map?

    Here's how I do it: the OSM file is loaded in the gps' internal memory and I placed the Roadguide file in an SD card. If I want to use Roadguide I leave the SD card inserted. If I want OSM I just pull out the SD card.
