September 27th, 2006 03:18 AM #11i know someone here at landargon, araneta, quezon city, malapit sa shell, na magaling mag timing.. without the aid of the timing light.. he is just like, rotating the whole distributor and his only basis is the sound of the engine.. pakiramdaman kung baga.. share ko lang po.. now i know the timing light is used for reading and the mechanic will still be the one who will make futher adjustments! i really have to have my car timed properly.. lakas ng gas consumption! hay... pansin ko lng po, mei mga degrees, like 5, 10, 15 deg. ano ano po ba ang characteristics ng bawat degrees when on them? which is Most efficient, maayos na hatak, ngunit nde ganun ka-takaw sa gas? my engine is 4g32 1.6L
thanks!
cheers!

September 27th, 2006 10:38 PM #16different cars need different degrees of timing. don't have it adjusted kung walang timing light or kung hindi masabi sayo ng mechanic mo kung ilan yung dapat na nakalagay.
