I am not sure if it's the same one, but years ago I tried both PIAA Plasma blue and Super Plasma. Though both gave me the whitish light, both were not bright enough, even though I bought the 80/80 version. Both also burned out pretty quickly, less than a year.

I got this over 10 years ago pa, at that time I bought it from CATS (when it was still an aftermarket auto shop), the Plasma blue were around 5k for a pair and the Super Plasma were around 6.5k then.

Since then I have not bought any white bulbs since the coating seems to make them burn out too quickly and so will be a very expensive experience.

I am now planning on getting the Philips X-treme, since it doesn't have that coating, which should make it produce more light but not neccesarily a whitish blue light.
