Based on users of Osram NBP like Sir crazy_boy:

    "crazy_boy
chiks, i replaced my stock halogens to ONBP, laki ng difference talaga compared to stock. minsan hindi na ako gumagamit ng front fog lights."

It is brighter than stock bulbs and 10% whiter too. There is still a little yellow color so that the light won't reflect on the road when raining.

Fogs are low and wide, vs headlights which should be higher and should throw light farther. They really do complement each other as the fogs help to enhance the shorter distance by making the beam thicker (fog beam + headlight beam).

With a good set of foglights and driving in city traffic, sometimes you don't need headlights. The rub with overpowering/overachieving fogs on the other hand is that they can mess up your distance vision since the nearer beam is thicker and it takes a while to adjust your eyes to look farther -- where the fog's beam does not reach.

None sir. Konti lang kasi kumukuha ng ganyang fitment.
But for sure, many online sellers out there has that kind of bulb.
Usually H.I.D. online sellers has this kind of fitment.

XV and NB+ has various claims pag dating sa improvement over stock halogen bulbs. For the benefit of those wanting to upgrade I posted output comparo several pages back:

    stock vs. XV

marami pang naka post na pix dun including my comparo on pnp HIDs and hid projectors.

I've tested both XV and NB+ considerably as I also have this in my stock. I just don't want to sell it and swallow the performance claims hook, line and sinker. Based on actual output, yes there is an increase in intensity and based on lumens output this is only 15-20%. Would I recommend this upgrade? for a few thousand pesos, yes and specially those with old halogen bulbs already. For new cars with new bulbs, I would think twice because the increase will not be significant.

hindi bro, malayo output ng HID bulb sa halogen bulb, 3x more ang HID bulb. NB+ or VX will give you 15, at most 20% increase.

magiging white ng konti coz better ng 10-15% output ng XV but dont compare to HID bulb. Mas malakas kasi output ng HID bulb so 4300k talaga yun.

So ano mas okay? Osram nb+ or philips xv? Parang same lang naman sila? If changing headlight bulb, do we need to align it again? Im worried baka pag nagpalagay ako hindi maganda ung cut off...

*MikkiW: based on the photos of garyq, negligible ang difference between Osram NB and Philips XV.

both bulbs have positive reviews and had received awards abroad so it's a draw for me. both brands are OEM brands.

i bought Philips XV last year since mas mura ko siya makukuha vs Osram NB. sa Amazon ko siya binili. made in Poland ung bulb.

anyways, kung alin ang mas mura mong mabibili, yun ang kuhanin mo. just make sure genuine ang item.

sir kung habol mo eh white effect like the HID, you'll be disappointed with XV or NB+ kasi di sila as white as HID. look for other philips bulb na blue ang color ng bulb kasi the blue color will make the light as white as HID. Bought and used that before but cant remember the name of the philips product. Parang blue vision ata yun. White sya pero less lumens, meaning not as bright as the XV or NB+. mas mahal din sya.
