White or Yellow light is more on preference. Some people see better with White light. Some people see better with Yellow light. Get the color that you are comfortable with.

Osram CBI D2S = 3500 lumens

Philips 85122 XV = 3300 lumens

Yes its personal preference. Dont get me wrong CBI's are one of the best bulbs kaya nga kailangan mag labas ng philips na pang tapat nila.
pero kung pag babasehan mo ang usable light, lower kelvin always trumps over higher kelvin lamps on bad weather condition lalo na sa asphalt. kaya nga po sa night rally ginagamit nila almost yellow na ang color. I'm no expert, this just base on my personal experience and limited knowledge ng HID.

I know TRS(theretrofitsource) sa kanila ako umorder ng bulbs, ballast, at projector ko.
Also yung pic sa baba ay recent comparison ng lightwerkz. A known retrofitter sa US. Marami din yan post sa HIDplanet forum and you tube kagaya ng sa TRS.
On paper mas mataas ang cbi but sa actual test na ginawa ng lightwerkz ay di sila magkalayo ng xv. mas mababa pa nga sa actual test ang cbh compare sa cbi or xv dahil sa 6000k na color temp nya. Again personal preference.

edit: isa din na mas famous ang cbi over xv is yung price. 110usd cbi, 175usd xv. I chose xv dahil known siya na hindi madaling mag color shift.

What usually is the brand of 70mm HID projectors being used in foglight projectors? Also yung lens nila ay exposed sa harapan, is it really advisable?

Not sure if he is the same gary of the famous The Retrofit Shop, you can ask sa fb page nila, had a couple of projects na sa kanila in over 3years, and so far, wala pa naman naging problem.
