Here are the rates I got from different banks:

    BPI:
    2 yrs: 9.67%
    3 yrs: 14.67% (free insurance)

    Security bank:
    2 yrs: 8.91%
    3 yrs: 13.58%

    Metrobank:
3 yrs: 14.37% (free chattel and insurance)

    Above rates are OMA.

I suggest to go to your bank kung saan ka depositor and ask them if they can match yung rates na nakuha mo. I ask ed my bank to match those rates and demand na I'll choose my own insurance and di lock sa kanila.

Then after that, look for the dealer who'll give best discount and freebies.

    Sample computation:

    Car amount: 1000000.00
    Discount if any: 0.00
    DP 30%: 300000.00
    Loan amount: 700000.00
    Terms 24 months: 8.91% ( security bank)
    Monthly amor: 31765.42
    Chattel: 11000.00
    Insurance 16000.00
Total cashout after end of term: 1,089,370.00 (not including the 2nd yr insurance)

The one with the lowest cashout after end of term, yun ang best deal.

Hi guys, sensya na newbie here,

    Vios 1.3 a/t 778k (155600)20%dp
    Loan amount 622,400
    36months 13.98%,
    19706 ,monthly,
Kaso hindi free ung chattel and insurance nila?

My inoffer sakin na free chattel, insurance, kso tie up ng 3yrs.saknila sa insurance

    14.77%, 19843 monthly,

My insight is mas mababa sakin ung free chattel and insurance kse naicip ko more like hundreds lng naman idagdag ng hindi free? Tama po ba?

parehas namang mababa yung both rate ng free at hindi free. kung pinili mo yung free insurance at chattel fee sa monthly amortization mo lang din kukunin yun eh, kung konti lang difference edi sa free kana with 14.77% para cash out mo lang talaga is yung down payment. imho yung payment mo sa insurance at chattel pwede mo na din ipambili ng accesories para sa car mo or much better itabi mo pang bayad ng monthly amortization

Hi.. I'm just new here. Hope you could help me with my noob questions. Me and my fiancé tried to apply for a new car loan a few weeks back (first time). (Since no commitment naman daw at plano rin talaga namin kumuha ng car this year..pumayag narin kami - without any knowledge sa mga processes). We tried applying for Chevy Spark then after reading some reviews online, nagtry din kami ng Mitsu MirageHB. So bale dalawang SA yung na-fillup-an namin. (I don't know if okay lang yung ganun. I really have no idea sa process). A few days later may mga tumawag na bank for CI. I answered all their questions then sabi within 3-5 business days malalaman if approved ako o hindi. A week had passed and I still haven't heard any updates from them so most likely hindi naapprove yung application ko. (really sad)

    Question:

    - Kailangan ba ang co-maker is relative?

I'm only getting 26k a month pero combined salary namin is at 50k+.

    - Factor din ba na we're both working sa BPO industry kaya lower ang chance? 6yrs and 10mos na ako tapos 2yrs & 5mos naman siya.

I've research onlined and after reading some forums about car loans & getting a car, I get to understand the process and yung better options sa pagkuha ng car.

Kapag may promo bpi, minsan meron sila 10% down, i think depende pa din sa loan amount and risk assesment nila sa inyo.

To answer your question, yes mas recommended pa nga dumeretso sa bank.

Pede ka humingi ng quotes from the dealers, price, vehicle info, freebies etc.. (Everything about the car will be negotiated with the dealer.) Before ka dumeretso sa bank kasi kekelanganin nila yun, kapag bago yung oto usually they would pay for the full amount in the quotation. (Everything about financing the payment of the car is negotiated with the bank).
Insurance is another matter but both dealers and banks offer their options.

Try mo pala yung mga self assesments available sa website ng ibang banks like BPI to get an idea if you would get approved. If you pass the online ones then still get declined in the end, baka may bad history ka with your finances. To increase chances of approval maigi sa home bank mo din ikaw mag apply, at least kahit papano may relationship ka na with them. Good luck!!

Thank you L1quid.. Nagtry ako magsubmit ng ng application under my fiancé's name. Sana may tumawag ngayon.

    Another question pala..

    Hi Bro!

Please do take note that bank loans requires a minimum salary of 40k for your loan to be approved, that's what the CA of Metrobank & Security bank has told me though they might still consider your application if you give a higher down payment 30% and up. I feel you bro as we're almost in the same range os salary.

Back in July, I tried applying for car loan in Toyota BGC and to my surprise, my applicaiton got approved within a week maybe because the SA is a former classmate or could be because my records are clean in PSBank.

Psbank is giving me total interest of 27.85% for 5yrs.

Banks use various sources for client information especially those with bad background, example would be the CMAP - Credit Management Association of the Philippines Inc. > Home may members list yan to give you and idea.

RE: SSS obligations mo since government contributions yan, I would recommend ayusin mo na yan habang di pa lumalaki ng todo penalties, kasi if the gov't mandates your employer to deduct them, your company will be forced to deduct yung utang mo ng buo, ikaw ang maiipit in the end. Resolve that while you still have time and the option to pay it in increments kasi hahabulin ka nyan hanggang dulo.

Pero for some na hirap makapag loan directly sa bank, may mga ibang inhouse financing options ang mga dealers na nagagawan nila ng paraan, I guess may contact sa bank yung SA ng dealer of some sort, or maybe sa ibang financing institution nila dinadaan. the harsh reality is kapag hirap makakuha ng loan, in case one gets approved, madalas di maganda yung package - like mataas yung rates, downpayment, etc. kasi the lender will try to minimize the risk to them as much as they can.

Sa car loan though, dapat mas madali kasi may collateral na eh. you can visit your bank para may makausap ka talaga in person regarding your plan, a phone call would work also.
