You are not talking to your banker.
Your outstanding balance loan is still computed for five years. This has to be re computed to
From the time you got the car to time of total loss of car. So baba yan dahil 2years lang bale ka umutang.
The pay off amount would also change significantly. Since hindi ka na uutang ng another 3 years.
So sobra sobra dapat ang monthly mo diba?

Call your bank to re compute the loan. Have you done this?
Have you informed the bank as to the total loss of your car?

Ginuhitan ung sasakyan ko paikot as in lahat ng panel ginuhitan kita ung metal sheet. in addition to that, may tama din panel sa ilalim ng pinto nagutter.

    2) do i need to worry about the difference of their estimates?

    3) what other options do i have?

You're insurer's estimate should be sufficient to repaint/repair your car. Medyo mahal yung quote ng dealer for a repaint at 113k. Kung later on kulang yung LOA ng Malayan, yung dealer ang bahala mag request for additional LOA. Basta max of 8k yung sa iyo.

thank you for the response sir. does that mean na the casa cant make the excuse that they cant start repairing and repainting my car until the additional loa is secured? can i have my car repaired tomorrow and let the casa and insurer settle whatever thwir differences are?

re-posting this. i posted it at a wrong thread,,, my apologies to the admin.

    need your help mga sir/ma'am,

i accidentally hit a curb at a parking lot 2 weeks ago, minor damage lang naman with a few small yet deep scratches sa front bumper. since may mga maliliit na tama na rin naman yung bumper(own damage also) kaya naisipan kong ipasok na lang sa insurance(BPI/MS) para idamay na yung previous damage for repair/ claims. calling the insurance company hot lines really gave me a hard time, there's no way i could talk to any person to whom i can address my concern because all there was are automated answering "robots" that led me to nowhere. sobrang inis ko talaga.

and so i tried sending an email instead. me declaring the accident as my own damage then asked what documents would they need for a claim...they replied and i had provided everything as what they had instructed and sent it via email. sabi pa nila; there's no need to bring the car to their motor car drive-in center to have it inspected then evaluated for the damage if i can have it pictured clear with the damage showing the license plate and a close up shot of the damage itself. i have it done then send it to them. included also is the job estimate from toyota taytay where i brought the car for an estimate amounting to php 8,500.
    the waiting game ends tonight with a surprise after reading the email they had sent me;

    Sir,

    Good evening!

Please be informed that your claim has been approved already and be guided
    on the computations below:

Approved amount (based on Toyota Taytay's estimate net of
    discount) P 7,650.00

    less deductible (participation fee)
    6,412.50

    ---------------------
    Initial Net Claim
    P 1,237.50

Please advise us if we will now issue the LOA to Toyota Taytay. Your
participation fee amounting to P 6,412.50 is payable to your preferred
    shop.

    Thank you.

guys, sa policy ko was clearly stated that deductible is * php 3,760.00. they are charging me with the amount of 6,412.50?
it's my first time doing this and so i need your advice. i haven't replied that email yet and i have no plans calling the crap hot lines again.
    i have it here attached some documents for reference;

    job estimate

    Attachment 31681

    policy

    Attachment 31682

    damage

i haven't tried somewhere else outside the casa to have it estimated for the repairs. though i can abort the claims, at baka mas makamura pa siguro kung sa labas ko na lang ipagawa.

Did you declare the damages as separate incidents? Ask them first why their applied deductible is not as stated on the policy.

    i know of some people..
damages that light and that low.... pinapa-bayaan na lang nila. bumper naman... doing what it's supposed to do..
    hindi naman kakalawangin, e.

i know also of other people.. newbie owners.. kahit gaano ka-liit.. hindi na makatulog.
i was like that once, when i was much younger and more energetic..

today, i'd either just let it be, or i might look for a silver spray can and DIY, to minimize visibility..
pinapa-dami ko muna, para "mas sulit" pag pina-gawa..

i hope the insurance guys make it easy for you, sir.

    heh heh.
