Excerpts from the tips of Dr d .... posted somewhere here in the forum ( can't remember now , i just compiled all tips i found here in one file )

my standard advice to those hunting for a good, used car:
DON'T RUSH! THE NEXT UNIT YOU SEE MIGHT BE EVEN BETTER THAN THE LAST.

Related question mga experts. Me issue kaya for the following points:
1. DOS is blank except for the signature of the person in the OR/CR. New owner of the second hand car has the specimen signatures of the person in the OR/CR with photocopy of his Drivers License and TIN ID. Can the new owner create copies of the blank DOS then have the copy notarized? or dapat original copy yung papa-notarize?
2. DOS is entirely blank. No signatures from the person in the OR/CR. New owner of the second hand car has the specimen signatures of the person in the OR/CR with photocopy of his Drivers License and TIN ID. Tapos mahirap na ma-contact yung original owner sa OR/CR. Can the new owner have the DOS notarized with only these documents?
Thanks in advance.
so for point #1, pirma lang nung seller ang nasa DOS, walang sulat na name, my question is, can i make duplicate of it, then fill-up that portion and have it notarized? keeping the original blank for future should i decide to sell it?
for point #2, pano kung walang name and pirma yung DOS nung seller but i have his IDs and specimen signature? how to notarize the paper?
thanks sirs.
IMO, in both cases it is pointless not to have both the printed name and signature of the seller in the DOS (since these two verify the personality of the seller/orig owner). Laging dapat meron yang dalawang yan. Try mo ipa-notaryo na walang printed name i.e. signature lang or wala both, malamang hindi yan i-process ng notary public.
thanks. how about for point #1, the DOS contains the signature of the seller but no handwritten name, address etc. And does having copies of the original owner's IDs (drivers license and TIN ID with 3 specimen signatures) gives any support kahit walang handwritten name sa DOS?
Refer to LTO site. Nandun requirements and process flow.

No deed of sale = NOPE.
Sabihin mong pakiusapan nya ang hipag nya na magpagawa ng special power of attorney allowing him to sell the car in her behalf.
may updated po ba na topic about deed of sale? Gusto ko po sana malaman if yung buyer/seller ang magpapaprint nung mismong document (deed of sale) or sa attorney dapat manggaling? Thanks po sa reply.
