This goes out especially to ghosthunter...i applaude you for your efforts in informing the car buying public and putting their interest at the forefront with this so called "turbo0charger". I almost fell into their trap of buying this gadget but having read all 125 pages of this thread and also studying air bleed devices, it has made me a more informed consumer who rethinks before making that impulsive purchase.

You probably have saved me money by not getting this product. Again, i send my sincere thanks. I used to watch GI JOE when i was a kid and they have this segment in the end saying that "Knowing is half the battle"...i have believed this for the longest time and indeed knowing more means empowering yourself to make better decisions!

Until I see valid results from their end (Inventionhaus), i will remain in doubt of their product and will tell my friends to think it over as well.

they have "carts" in malls... like Robinson's galleria, ermita and others. Plus side (for us), it seems no one passing by are even showing interest with the gadget.

To Gonzalpd:

i have a 1982 boxtype lancer. i am planning to install a khaos gas saver. since my car is that old, do you think the gadget will work? i dont know anything about that gadget but i really want to increase the power of my old car and most of all, save gas.

i'd been reading this thread for quite sometimes and it seems the gadget may somehow work in old cars. please advice me if i should install one. if you recommend, then i am willing to buy your unit (50% of the cost).

Also i want to seek the advice of other tsikoters like ghosthunter and others who knows somthing about the gadget.

You can adjust your a/f ratio merely by changing your idle or pilot jets for something smaller. This leans out your gas at idle. Then compensate by increasing your main jets a bit (you don't want the car leaned out at high rpms, because this is where damage is mostly done on lean burn engines).

This does EXACTLY what Khaos does, and is much safer if you have an experienced carb man tune everything, rather than putting a one-size-fits-all on your car.

And it'll probably cost you just as much or less, depending on how much you change.
