I'll go for alterra, tested and proven. We did a test drive from QC to bicol and it's so smooth.. Regarding sa fuel consumption matipid sya kung sa matipid (take note diesel sya). Tahimik ang engine at ang sarap i-drive comfortable at malamig ang a/c.

Di ba kakalabas lang nung bagong santa fe. May 5- and 7-seater. Parang hindi naman ganyan yung itsura. You mean may lalabas pa ulit na bago agad agad?

Update: Mukhang eto nga. 7-seater siguro to kaya medyo nalakihan ako tignan. Hehehe

next year pa ata, but i'd take this over the montero anyday. even if priced at 1.9M i'd still buy the santa fe over the montero or fortuner. the difference is just worlds apart literally.

Definitely it couldn't kill the sales of the cheap 1.1M Montero, pero the difference on everything is really big between the two. Given the budget of 1.5M the least, I would somehow strive more just to afford the Santa Fe if ever it would be priced at around 1.6M

From a standing still, I couldn't gauge how much attention would the Santa Fe get compared to the Montero. I am expecting left and right wow's especially if it is a sleek color such as black.
