    Actually, that's 50K plus additional 10K.

    The "official" discount from TMPI is
    40K disc is for Revo, Innova, FX owners.
    30K disc for any Toyota owner.
    10K disc for any buyers.

    It depends on which agent your are talking with. Some agents (like wilcats) offer higher discounts.

    I see, my uncle is lucky to have availed the 'unofficial' 60K in total.

    Or maybe because of cash and multiple single order for the additional 10K

    To Botchi,

    The Innova's gas fed engine is just 2.0L not 2.7L, that is the Fortuner's.

    From what I understand, you're only considering gas models because your budget can't fit a diesel AT - but if the price I've seen is correct, then the Carens fits the bill. I'm pretty sure you can extend the budget by 9k more.
    There is, I believe, a 50k discount currently on the Carens. For under 900k, this is a great price for a loaded A/T CRDi with a VGT intercooler:

    * 4-wheel discs and ABS
    * airbag (driver's side)
    * power outlets at the back
    * ipod-ready HU with Bluetooth
    * 5-year warranty

    That discounted Carens price makes it a good deal. It's still not as spacious as the Innova though, especially down to the 3rd row.

    Any updates, musang?

    The Carens was my first pick before I actually started the thread. But the the A/T is no longer available. And I think I've tried all the Kia dealers in Metro Manila.

    So I'm going to finalize an Innova order. It all came down to the comfort of the family.

    Thanks everyone for the advice!
