Jazz vs Mirage vs Yaris

my officemate is planning to buy her first car with the following requirements:

1. Automatic
2. Hatch back
3. Fuel efficient
4. Low maintenance
5. Spacious (kasya 3 sa likod)
6. Budget is P750k

she's considering the following:

1. Mirage
2. Jazz
3. Yaris

Need your inputs and insights. What say you?

actually safe choice lahat e. lamang sa space ang jazz. lamang naman sa features and price ang mirage. TOTL na, may sukli pa ang 750k

Jazz and yaris are both good choices, tried and tested na yan dito satin.

Jazz would be the more practical choice, newer facelift. Yaris is still the same..

officemate told me that she's leaning more on jazz because of its yellow variant. although i see yellow jazz around, i can't seem to find that variant in hondaphil website. and is it available in 1.3?

Jazz and yaris are both good choices, tried and tested na yan dito satin.

Jazz would be the more practical choice, newer facelift. Yaris is still the same..

Sa 1.5V lang nilabas yung Helios Yellow tsaka Limited Edition yun brader, wala nang Helios Yellow ngayon. Black, white, silver nalang ata available ngayon sa 1.3S na Jazz.

The Jazz is the biggest, roomiest, most practical and most solid feeling of the three. Fuel economy sucks in comparison, when equipped with the AT... both the Mirage and Yaris can get 19-20 km/l on the highway... but with the MT, it's perfect.

officemate is now torn between jazz and mirage (50-50). she will make her decision once she sees the unit in flesh (mirage), which is on month end.

asked her why mirage: because mirage has yellow variant

Given that its 2014, which among the three is the best choice?

Budget is not issue since I can afford all of them but... it must be Manual.

What is important to me are these: Safety features, ease of maintenance (availability of parts and people who can service the engine), reliability and fuel economy.

PS: If there are issues, like the driveplate/flywheel issues with the Mirage, please include it in your post. Thank you :D

Afaik, jazz and yaris still uses the same engine as the previous gen, so may parts na sya. Correct me if i am wrong. I have a mirage mt but this belong to a segment below your choices.
Why not include ford fiesta and focus on your list.

If budget is not an issue, buy them all. Hahah

I see, so since bago pa kasi Mirage so wala gaanong available parts and service stations na marunong dito. Tama ba?

The new Jazz now has 1.5L only engines. Dunno if it uses the same parts as that of the 1.3L variants though.

Why not Ford? Hmmm... I don't trust American brands I guess.

Yaris ako on this one. The jazz is just too huge

The US and Canadian versions of Jazz said this: "The turning radius is atrocious for the Jazz." But then again, it comes with a lot of space :D
