advise ko test drive both cars then you decide

Kaya masasabi natin Sir SG na kung VGT lang pinagusapan, pinaglumaan na yan ng Santa Fe. kaya ngayon e-VGT because of the electronic control. Siguro pag nag e-VGT din ang MS ang Santa Fe ay naka i-VGT na (intelligent VGT) or sVGT -smart VGT or ssVGT supersmart VGT... ad infinitum...the Hyundai VGT department will always be a step ahead!

Doesn't mean na newer technology that it is better at the end of the day.

Newer technology, may seem ahead but if demand for it is low of course, price for repairs are higher, because of the low demand.

Well, maybe you are right. But at the end of the day, newer technology is what delivers. Big companies will not allocate huge budgets on R&D if newer technology will make their cars go backward. Especially cars. That's why car makers are always trying to outdo each other with their new technological breakthroughs. It may not sell to the public for various reasons but the idea is newer technology will always be the pursuit of car makers.

Demand is a different issue. Pricing could be an influence, other factors may play in but a good car with technological advancement will always be a good car.

NO, don't get shocked. You are still off by 3 more horses which is quite considerable if you squeeze in more power to a 2.2L engine. Now compare that with the touted new marks of hp and torque of the VGT MS but the displacement I believe is 3.2 liter. Now this one should get you more high voltage.

Ok 2.5L pala. At granted na 175 horses sya, kayang kaya yan even sa 07-09 na SF. Not the 2010 model ang katapat nyan in that case. the 2010 in comparison is an overkill. Though not proven on a dyno but initial tests of a pre facelifted Santa Fe 07-09 2.2L model fitted with a Racechip or an Italian box could approximate such output or even better.
