March 11th, 2011 04:30 PM #101I'll just narrow it to a few more words rather than perpetuating this. Magkaiba po ang stand natin. You are pessimistic towards Hyundai but I am an optimist and a risk taker. My hope is he can be enlightened to make a sound decision out of the posts here bias man o hindi. May the best car wins.

March 11th, 2011 10:11 PM #106Bakit kaya 5 years warranty yung HYUNDAI while 3 years lang yung MITSUBISHI kung mas reliable ang MS kesa SF as a whole??

in my opinion, mas okay ang warranty of Hyundai. It's not that they are better or not. Eto logic ko sa warranty.
Ang Hyundai is 5 years or 100,000km while Mitsubishi or other brands is 3 years or 100,000km.
If you think about it, what is the average KM an owner would consume in a year. I am looking at average of 10,000-15,000KM in a year. So if given even 20,000KM/year, multiply it by 5 years, thats 100,000KM for Hyundai and sa Mitsubishi or other Makers, its 60,000km in three years. Sa akin, mas realistic ang ginawa ng Hyundai to spread the years with its KM equivalent.
business side, also good, kasi, you need to service your car sa dealership nila or else void nila warranty. owner side, bad, kasi..mas mahal sa casa mag paayos. overpricing.

while...
sa city driving, sa singitan parang parehas lang din naman kasi the SF is wider than MS but ms is longer than SF so may disadvantages sila pareho.
reliability- parehas lang na wala tayong idea dyan. let us just see after 20 years.
TS: kaya let your heart decide kung ano man yung tinitibok niya kasi pera mo yan perang pinaghirapan. basta you won't go wrong with any of the two.

March 11th, 2011 10:46 PM #109Yun lang naman ang gusto ko e-point out. There are risk and uncertainties in newly developed engine compared to the proven one that still delivers.
You are risk taker you took the risk that soon will be all yours once your warranty expire.
Hoping also that the TS is enlightened.

Kasi nakakasawa kung paulit-ulit nalang eh. Ang dami nang naging 4D56 sa amin. 2 L300FB, 2 Starex, Pajero 90s, Montero Sport GLS 4X4 M/T.
I admit matibay sila.
