October 29th, 2014 03:07 PM #1Hi bros, been lurking around the net looking to buy a 2nd Car for my wife. I have a fixed budget, P350-400K on each of the above choices.
Criterias are:
1. Auto transmission
2. sub compact car
3. fuel efficient
4. pwedeng i drive long distance at least once a year to North.
5. family of 5 pag kasama ako, pero most of the trips maybe 3 lang sila kasama wife ko.
6. resale value
for the given budget, Honda Jazz shall be in the range of 2006-2007 model, Ford Fiesta should be 2010-2011 (12) & Accent CVVT should (mahal ung CRDI hehe) be somewhere 2011-2012 model. I think fuel consumption is almost the same for the 3-cars.
need your advise bros. si wifey, di sya maka decide, hehehe (aako din pala)Last edited by bongliza; October 29th, 2014 at 03:12 PM.

for Jazz try to get the 2nd gen 2009 up model. 1st gen AT jazz have some issues of their CVT.
1.5 vs 1.3 - 1.5 will be more efficient when going out of town trips. for pure city driving in manila 1.3 is adequate.

Hmmm.. Mejo mahirap talaga magdecide eh. hahaha.
Ford Fiesta - among the 3 choices, ito yata yung pinakamaliit yung space sa loob
For me,
Looks - Fiesta
Space - Jazz/Accent
Reliability - Jazz
Resale Value - Jazz
Sa long distance trips, ang alam ko sa 5 adults, walang sub-compact car na magiging komportable ang mga passenger mo.

Ooops. May issue pala ganito yung ganung year model ng jazz. Better to stay away from that year model.

The GE Jazz still has very good resale value.
I'd say Yaris nalang. Very reliable, very fuel efficient. You can get an 09 model for under 400k.
The Accent is more spacious though, but read about the knocking issues din. Mahirap na if you get one with such issues. Also less powerful than the Yaris and not that fuel efficient.

Fiesta or Mazda 2 for me.
But since you need space maybe the Accent is a better fit for you.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
