No problem sa Everest 4x2 ang mga matataas na incline at malalaking bato. Taas naman ng ground clearance niyan eh, lakas pa ng makina. Baka lang ma-stuck ka sa matinding putik ng di oras. Yung sinasabi mo bang mud eh yung tipong landslide mud? Baka kasi ito mangyari sayo eh.
Video taken by a fellow Tsikoteer by the way.

Also check out this video also taken by Tsikoteer GO1:

This one's a Strada 3.2 chasing an Everest in mountain roads. You will notice na napakatulin niya, and the body does not sway a lot in turns, otherwise typical of a ladder frame vehicle.

I get what you mean. astig yung Montero dun ah. but I wasnt referring to landslide mud. just the usual road mud and you can still feel the rocks on your tires.

*jrn29: gas kasi yung tucson at maliit ang kaha ser kaya tinanggal ko sa options.

I think thats it for me. I got all the information I need.
Though I am still stuck between MonteroS and Everest it will now be a matter of choosing the best deal pero either of the 2 is ok basta 2.5Li. Hehe

Thanks everyone for the kind assistance. More power to all the Tsikoteers!

I see. Kung ganon lang naman, Eve 2.5 na talaga! Mas macho ang dating as compared to the Montero, which looks like a city slicker anyway you look at it. Our old Trooper 3.0 4x2 was able to do some light to moderate offroading en route to Balatok Mines near Baguio.

For 2.5 engine, Montero and Everest talaga choices in terms of power. Pero yung iba kasi di rin naman nagagamit lalo na kung stop and go kalimitan yung daily drive. For me lang, sa looks medyo bias ako sa Fortuner. Subjective naman ito unlike HP and torque.

Pero may tsismis na about All New Fortuner 2013. Abang-abang muna hehehe. Malay natin magkaroon ng improvement yung 2.5 D4D.
