Went to pitstop yesterday to check an actual unit. Good thing there was a black unit 2wd. My wife loved it. She checked out all the features. Told her that the HARI model will cost less and some of the features you saw in the gray unit will get watered down. But comparing the spec list of the HARI variants with the ones pitstop was importing, konti lang naman yung natanggal. I would say bearable naman. The wife gave a big thumbs up to the Santa Fe. I know she swayed already from the the CX5. How do i know? While driving home, she blurts out the question "Hon pag dala ko Santa Fe tapos natabi ako sa BMW, nakakahiya ba?" hahahaha. I just laugh at y wife since she hasn't learned a thing sa lahat ng nasabi ko. Pa sosyal pa din ang nauna.
Sold na siya. So in the end, she is finally bent on getting a 4x2 AT Santa Fe. Color is either Red Merlot or Titanium Silver. In line na sya with a Hyundai dealer and shes in the first batch of deliveries.
Thanks so much to those who shared your advices. They were very uch appreciated.
Congratulations!
I remembered this thread when I was taking a drive a while ago, since I saw a brand-spankin'-new red CX-5 park beside me, and I thought, "Hey it really does look good. Fresh and elegant."
Can't blame you though, that's definitely gonna be more of a looker.![]()

You can test drive the Tucson first if possible. For me, the suspension killed it kasi sobra tagtag on uneven surfaces. It might not be a deal breaker for you so try it out first.

Speaking of wives, pop, diba naka-SF ka? Tapos macho ka? Tapos hot yung asawa mo?
May katabi kasi ako sa parking kanina, naka-SF (current gen). Tapos macho yung guy, tapos hot yung asawa.

I didn't mention it before kasi baka ako lang maarte haha.
Thanks so much SG for the input, bigla tuloy akong nalito hahaha. Mukhang mawawalan ako ng tulog dahil dito...Iniisip ko kasi if i do push my budget and go for the premium diesel which is 1.728, less than 50k na lng idadagdag ko Santa Fe na 2013 na.. Hmmm.. Will open a new thread for this na lng! Hope you can contribute there as well!

I actually have test drove a unit before making a reservation for a unit. Thanks for pointing out that tho. Because of you and SG im now thinking of putting my unit on hold and streching my budget a bit.. Will put up a new thread for that na lng. Thanks sachiel for the advise!

*dwee...perfectly fine by me.
What if naka 20s pa. Haha! Kaya nung nag-MMC sila nung 2010 inupdate yung suspension. Sabi ni Niky may improvement. Pero ang handling sa Tucson parin.
Question lang sirs about the smart key ng hyundai. Thanks
In my opinion, a tucson with a price of 1.7 is too much. I would suggest that you pick the lower variant tucson or might as well go with the all new santa fe. If it were me, and my budget allows, I will get the all new santa fe in an instant. I consider a car as a major purchase and I usually keep my car as long as it is still dependable. It really sucks to pay the monthly payments for something you are not really happy and contented. However, if you're already happy with the lower variant tucson, then that is still a great choice. It really depends on every person's level of contentedness and budget. Happy shopping!![]()
