Kung tutuusin pwede na ang i-Van pero since Isuzu is marketing it as a passenger van/mini-bus. They could've done more with it and boy do I have a long list of improvements for them. Wish also that they'll make it more flexible with more powertrain and body choices. Most importantly, add sliding doors and throw in the 4HF1-T engine!

*KIANTOT: What I-Beam suspension? Di ba leaf spring harap at likod din yan a la jeepney?

Well perhaps pwede lagyan ng 4JJ1-TC or 4JG2-TC but I highly doubt they would. OK ang basic idea nila for the i-Van, refine refine lang talaga ng konti.

I remember seeing twice here in our roads the long wheelbase Hiace. Nag-iindent order ba ang Toyota for that?

And then there's the Joylong Hivan. Basically a licensed clone of the LWB Hiace. Worth looking at, IMHO since it copied the Hiace to the core, even to the 2KD-FTV engine.

With the current price of 1.245M(increase of 30k for 2012) of the very bare and stripped down hiace commuter, no brainer just get the nissan urvan!

The super high roof, super long wheelbase Toyotas are gray imports.

The Joylong vans have a dealer here also.

The 2KD has a power up upgrade available from Speedlab. Includes chip, intake, and downpipe. Originally designed for the Fortuner but I think Speedlab can work their magic on the Hiace, too.

I heard that it has a displacement of 4.3 turbointercooler pa,
