Guys ano choice nyo if ever, 2004 Ford Ranger or Land Cruiser?
2004 Ford Ranger
Brand new nabili nang father ko.
Matipid.
Usefull yung bed niya.
Minsan pinagsasakyan ko nang mga maruming gamit or pyesa. Minsan mga boxes.
Low maintenance.
Wala pa problema.
Well maintain.
Ginagamit ko lagi pag long distance.
Land Cruiser
Second hand.
Galing Japan.
Walang welding nong nag convert sila.
Walang cut ang dashboard, palit dashboard.
Parang local LC ang kinalabasan.
Maayos ang pag ka convert, pinalitan lahat, as in ginastusan, mga wiper niya parang local LC, power window asa driver side na.
Mataas na.
New m/t tires.
Sunroof.
Automatic transmission nga lang.
Anu mas okey?

if you can bear the 5-8km/L consumption of the landcruiser, why not...iba ride nyang VX-limited(kaysa sa local nating LC) at mas lalong iba parin ang ride ng SUV compared sa pick-up truck.(price of power and luxury is a higher maintence cost). nga pala, since imported to, 75% of its parts mahirap/di mo na marereplace ng right parts(example->skyhook-TEMS shocks, auto tranny system, fulltime system,interior, basta lahat ng wala sa local nating bare LC 80)
nga pala from my POV, di brand-new ung ranger-->see sa taas: "brand-new nabili ng father nya"
ang advantage lang is alam mo na ang pagaalagang ginawa sa sasakyan.
so ang comparison na to is ung own-owned and buying a used-one na di mo alam ang service history.
kung ako, noon binata pa, LC80 vx-limted(better kung G-selection) pipiliin ko.
practicality wise, sa ranger ka nalang ng dad mo.Last edited by alwayz_yummy; February 6th, 2007 at 08:12 AM.

i'd go with the Ranger on this because it's newer, and i know how it's been maintained. if i had a friend/contact/shop that specialized in LCs that's near where i live, then i'd be singing a different tune. IMO, if both were in the same good condition, i'd go with the Land Cru. it's after all a luxury SUV. however, since it's used, been converted though quite nicely, and since i don't know how it's been maintained, i'd be afraid to take the maintenance risk.

remember this, ang risk mong malaki ay sa a/t->
sliding a/t-->palit/overhaul
sliding m/t -> palit clutch-release and pressure plate.
pero sa maintenance:
a/t-->40T kms/4years palit ATF lang(8-10 liters)
m/t -->40T/4-5 years palit clutch-release-pressure plate, and if possible palit gear oil na din, plus every engine oil change check gear oil.
in short, A/T is best if your the only owner and user.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
