May 14th, 2004 10:24 PM #1ladies, gentlemen...
guys, may I ask...ano ba correct procedure sa change motor/engine sa TMG or LTO? Dapat ba lakarin ko na muna papers bago ko painstall ang new engine or pa kabit ko muna bago ko dalhin uli sa mga kinauukulan sa TMG or LTO?
halp naman from those who has gone through this process already..alin ba ang less hassle..thanks

i think you need to have it installed muna since sa registration the chassis number and engine number are needed. for less hassle dapat complete yung papers nung new engine mo or ask the shop where you'll buy the engine to process the lto registration. laking hassle pag naisalpak na tsaka mo malalaman sabit pala yung papeles.

Yung sakin dati after the physical engine swap ko inasikaso papeles. Ang masama, 3 months after the swap and before ko naasikaso yung papeles, nahuli ako ng MMDA. suffice to say, malaki ang nilagay ko to get out of the mess.
Advice ko lang, make sure that after the swap, within a week tapusin mo na papers mo.

Ano ano ang mga papers na kailangang hingin from the shop?

Guys I need your help, I bought my car last year na walang engine, and installed a surplus engine, my registration is due next month, gusto ko nang itransfer sa name ko yung car and i-register yung installed engine.
Ang problem ko eh since hindi kasama yung engine sa binili kong kotse, should I just leave the Engine Number sa deed of sale blank or N/A or mas lalo ako magkakaproblema sa change engine since kailangan ko ring mag execute ng Affidavit of Change Engine. And meron ba sa inyo may form ng Affidavit of Change Engine? Thanks.

Choice I would have made as well.
