i agree na talagang dapat sa customer, ibebenta lang kung ano yung kailangan... thats what we are doing also sa tsikot shop, dumadaan din muna sa free consultation para malaman kung ano talaga need nila.

actually mukhang hindi tauhan or secretary yung sumagot eh. babae siya na may edad na(well, base lang sa boses niya sa phone. haha), feeling ko nanay nung jeff tan.

what i like about this shop is that he's an enthusiast who oversees every customer setup. unlike other shops na pinapabayaan ng may ari na dumiskarte yung installers.

I agree with an earlier post, he won't sell you something that you do not need unlike in other shops na bibigyan ka nang kuna ano ano. for the number, just google "araneta car accessories". better text rather than call him.

Matagal na din ako suki ni jeff tan, ang masasabi ko lang pulido talaga gumawa mga tao nya, as in supervised ni jeff lahat ng gawa, systematic sila gumawa, ultimo kahulihulihang cable lalagyan nila ng strap para malinis ang gawa. Nakapagpagawa na din ako audio setup sa ibang sikat na shop pero si jeff pa din pinaka pulido trabaho, di ubra sa kanya gamol na gawa trained nya mga bata nya to the point na sinasabon nya talaga pag medyo nalilihis ng landas hehe.
Syempre di basta malinis lang mag linya, alam nya talaga ginagawa nya quality at ni minsan di pa pumigok yung mga pinagawa ko sa kanya, yung mga sa iba ko pinagawa na buong setup din naku po bigla hindi tutunog sub tapos nagkakaron, hirap diagnose pag ganun, meron pa may static pag rev! Pag si jeff gumawa garantisabog talaga. Hehe, wala binayad si jeff sakin ha, talagang napabilib lang ako ng quality ng installs ni jeff pati pag tono di nya minamadali, di lang sa audio, kahit hid, atbp accessories quality sila mag install bukod sa knowledgable si jeff at mga bata nya e kumpleto sila sa gamit at pwesto talaga oto mo pag gagawin kaya kumportable pati installer nya. May pagka OC kasi ko sa gamit kaya sobrang buraot ako dun sa mga baboy gumawa na ibang shop.
Paki banggit kay jeff, testi to nung naka light blue na pajero na suki nya.

Highly recommended talaga si Jeff Tan. Had my setup done at another shop, then biglang nawalan ng sound yung front seps ko. Yung shop na nag set up, sabi sira na daw amp ko. Went to ACA, and Jeff personally checked the wirings and ayun okay na. Had all my wirings and boxed replaced na rin kasi pangit at cheap daw yung ginamit saken.

mga sir.. may ma recomend kaya sakin si jefftan na budget package? ang gusto ko lang kasing setup is gapang ang bass... yung tipong nasa kabilang kanto rinig na ang bass? mga kano kaya aabutin pag budget setup na ganto? hindi ko mahanap phone no. ni jefftan eh...

kaya ako nagbabasa muna sa mga forums bago magupgrade kung saan me reputable shop na malapit lang samin and jeff tan was the answer. last december nagdecide ako na magupgrade ng sound system, tinanong muna ko ni jeff kung ano gusto ko setup sabi ko SQ so pinaliwanag nya with drawings & diagram ung gusto kong set up at dun pa lang napabilib na nya ko kasi di sya mag oofer ng di kailangan na mga gagamitin. direct supervision ang ginagawa nya.medyo kulang lang talaga sya sa PR pero ang expertise nya sa sounds ang puhunan nya at di sya mahirap kausap direct to the point ang question & answer, makakatawad ka pa kaya this december balik uli ko kay jeff para painstall ng HU para mkumpleto na set up ko. tip lang mga bro weekdays (mon-fri) & try na pumunta ng maaga para maasikaso mabuti kayo.HTH.

nagpasetup ako ng nissan urvan kay jeff tan october 2010. i brought my kenwood hu came from dubai. sa kanya ko na kinuha yung amp, sub and seps. sobrang galing, pulido ng gawa nila. walang nakaexpose na wires, very organized. yung subwoofer box ko custom fit sa likod ng van and removable in case marami kang kargada sa likod. galing magtono, wala static sound, galing ng quality of work. highly recommended shop. hindi ka nila tatagain sa presyo, bibigay nila what's best for your budget. at the end, uuwi ka ng nakangiti dahil satisfied ka sa outcome at hindi yung pakiramdam ng para kang naholdap.

Hi guys.super clueless on car sound set-up. I have a company issued car which i want to have a decent sound setup sana. Decent meaning improved and clear music (not the loud boom boom type) which will accompany me with my usual 3-4 hour drive going to the province.I don't want to change my head unit (altis 08 stock with no aux ) though. Any ideas what i can do? How much will it cost? And based on previous posts, is aca/jeff tan the right place for a newbie and price conscious guy like me?

makiki ride na rin po ako sa inquiry ni Sir Rookie. but what i really wanted is to have an aux specially usb or sd card port as the altis '10 does not have it.
is there any way to upgrade my HU? saan kaya? thanks po!

I had a setup in mind and told Jeff about it. He argued with me but explained everything (thru FB pa ha). In the end he gave me a setup which is has a better quality on what I want but a cheaper one. I just don't know the quality of the separates he is giving which is a TEAC TE-CS6. Any feedback on this separates? Thanks.
