Unhappy Re: AVANZA - comprehensive motor insurance

Malabo na this week na magawa iyon dahil last day na ng work today.

    Hi guys

Update on my vanza, well still in the agony of pointing fingers between toyota alabang and insurance company. MAA is not signing the checkpayment of P500k for the declaration of 'Lost' as the repairt estimate given by toyota is just a partial estimate at P331k. But anyways, after seating down together with the insurance consultant and toyota alabang last Dec 28, 2009, we have decided to write a letter to the President of toyota alabang to provide speedy assistance on the repair estimates. I got the updated quotation last friday only, Minus the brakes, and the electrical wiring system, Paint, and specially the seats as they dont have the parts (NPM-no part master) on their service manual. The Update repair estimate is now at P431K inches away from the P500k coverage. If im to add the re-painting of 25k, change foam and re-upholster of 20k (as no patterns for the foam yet for the avanza), and replacement of the whole electrical system, the cost will be more than P500k. I stand by my decision to the insurance company that if they want to have the car to be repair only, ill make sure every inch of the cars part that have been flooded will be replaced, i told them, lets switch places, and tell me how they feel if the car suddenly stalled or some part started to break down, while your on a family trip out of town.

Anyways, Hopefully the declaration of the unit to be declared lost would be decided within the month . btw.. the car has been detailed and cleaned only, no actual work have been done after that it has been 3months now.

Hi just like to share the experience on of my colleagues, He negotiate that he's car must be declared lost after submerging in flood. He's insurance declined but he pursue this in "Insurance Commission" and they set for a hearing, after the hearing the court say the car can be declared lost and unusable. now he bought a brandnew ALTIS and junk he's 2008 VIOS. Good for him since he don't want that long and court decided right away.

since sa Toyota C5 daw ang Body and Paint.. sila daw ang kausapin ko regarding sa upuan.. kinausap ko na ang Toyota C5.. and they dont fix seats daw.. what they do is they recommend replacement of the entire seat assembly kung may kalawang daw.. pero based sa experience nila with insurance.. hindi daw pumapayag ang mga insurance to replace the entire seat assembly.. and kung pumayag din naman daw... it will take a minimum of 6 months para ma order lahat nang parts sa upuan at para ma assemble..

I went back to Standard Insurance and demanded them to replace the entire seats as per advise by Toyota... ewan ko kung papayag sila.. so abangan na naman.. tsk tsk tsk

i have detailed part number for the seats front, back, 3rd row. walang available seats dito sa pinas, talagang made to order yan. .. actually its the anatomy of the avanza upto the last wiring
    http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/g_G_200...LM-GQMFJF.html

Pero up to now wala silang ibinibigay.

    TIA.
