    Hi guys,,
    update on my vanza.

    Toyota called me this morning, asking how come the LOA they recieved is only amounting 6k. The initial estimated for detailing is at 14k and the mechanical checkup is at 34,500. It will only cover initially the car detailing. Now the wierd part of the story... I called the insurance company MAA, talked to the person whose name and signature appears on the LOA. I verified what was issued and was told that it was correct and that the car according to his record had an accident only(nabangga lang) ... WHAt the !*#$... I told him, you have a wrong record, my car got flooded, and categorized level A by toyota. He immediately cover's his mistake and told me that the 6k is for the detailing only. ... Well I told him its only half of what was quoted even for the detailing part... He cant explain what he signed for.. tsktsktsk...anyways... its a good thing that the person assigned to me at Toyota alabang is honest and sincere she's gonna be looking at that status of the car's paper works if the insurance is revising the LOA and will inform me the progress. she assigned My car to their Master Supervisor so that it will be expedited in checking all mechanical, electrical and electronics part.

    Fyi. the insurance company is MAA (kawawa naman insurance kung me mga staff sila na medyo Tan!*# at di ginagawa ang trabaho ng tama), and ill be talking to them again to verify and correct their record to speed up the process, as toyota will not process the car if they dont have the correct LOA. Mukhang nextyear ko pa makita ang car ko or baka di ko na makita

    yup.naghahanap ako ng rcbc savings bank kanina umaga. sa may ayala jaka pa pala.sa tabi ng krispy kreme..si goldie wag mo madaliin, kung baga sa pasyente, after ng aksidente, naoperahan, recovery room, ngayon siguro ICU muna, bago ilipat sa room confinement then finally discharge

    Ako nga ni hindi tinatawagan. Hindi sinasagot ang calls ko sa celphone nya. After undas ko na pupuntahan ang Toyota. Siguro naman after 1 month hindi na nakatengga ang car ko.

    How soon may the amount of any loss or damage for which an insurer may be liable under a non-life policy be paid? If the insurer refuses or fails to; pay the claim within the time prescribed by law, may the insured collect interest for the duration of the delay?

    The amount of any loss or damage shall be paid within 30 days after proof of loss is received by the insurer and ascertainment of the loss or damage is made either by agreement between the insured and the insurer or by arbitration; but if such ascertainment is not paid or made within 60 days after such receipt by the insurer of the proof of loss, then the loss or damage shall be paid within 90 days after such receipt. Refusal or failure to pay the loss or damage will entitle the assured to collect interest on the proceeds of the policy for the duration of the delay at the rate of twice the ceiling prescribed by the Monetary Board, unless such failure or refusal to pay is based on the ground the claim is fraudulent.


    If the insured has any right of recovery against another party, may he be required to assign such right to the insurance company?

    Yes, the company may require from the insured an assignment of all rights of recovery against any party for loss to the extent that payment therefore is made by the company.


    Once a property is insured, must the insured inform the company of any change of the description, occupation or construction of the property insured.

    The insured must inform the company of any change thereto, otherwise, the company would be relieved from liability unless the insured before the occurrence of any loss or damage obtained the sanction of the company signified by an endorsement upon the policy.

    The actual cash value at the time of loss, that is, what it would cost to replace the property.

    No, the value of the property should be determined by the insured, rather than the agent. However, the agent should guard as far as possible against over insurance and should check the amount of insurance in relation to the actual value with the insured.

    ni check ko yung avanza kanina.. na i start na daw nila.. mukhang wala daw tama ang computer box.. hindi naman daw nag error.. kaya lang marami pang lumabas na problema nung ni start.. hindi daw naikot ang fan motor.. tapos biglang may tumulo pa daw na langis..

    na submit na nila yung lahat nang papalitan.. meron na ding LOA from Standard.. ang problema.. walang stock nung ibang parts.. hihintayin pa daw next shipment.. baka daw 2 to 3 weeks pa.. waaaaaaaaaaa

    Good news, mukang OK ang makina.

    Bad news, walang stock na parts.

    Lahat naman yata ng sasakyan for repair, ito yata ang common problem. Abnormal demand for parts kasi.

    Share ko lang po... from original 107th sa waiting list sa casa, nasa 60th na ako today (17 ang naservice-an, 30 na ang nagback-out). Nagre-request ako baka magawan ng "special" arrangement na ma-accomodate ako kasi magrerenew na ulit ako ng insurance this January pero naka-pending pa rin yung unit ko sa depot area ng insurance provider. Will post here kung papayag ang TYT.

    Meanwhile, habang nasa depot area ng insurance, may mga ginawa na ang insurance (interior and exterior detailing/cleaning, reinstalled seats, engine and transmission fluids were already flushed and changed). Ngayon, nakaschedule daw linisin ang alternator at starters para masubukan. May sinasabi silang "testing and full restoration" being done by their service contractors with "qualified technicians and specialists with skills comparable to service personnel of the dealarships".

    Di ba dapat Toyota ang gagawa? Kahit na sabihing voided na ang warranty dahil nga nabaha? Would like to ask your comments on this please.

    at least sir nalinis na yung oto mo.. mag maganda pa nga yan.. kasi i'm sure qualified naman yung mga gumagawa sa insurance.. pagawa mo na sa insurance.. papalitan na lahat nang palitan.. then pa QA nyo na lang sa Toyota.. so i te test nang toyota lahat para masigurado na tama lahat nang ginawa.. baka mas mabilis pa yang ganyan.. pag nagka problema naman yan sir.. sagut nang insurance yan.

    Buti pa sa inyo sir nalinis. Ako binisita ko yung kotse ko, 1 month after, sa awa ng diyos puro putik pa din. Awang awa ako sa kotse ko.

    *_Qwerty_... pareho tayo sir, Standard Insurance... Kaya lang ako yung mga hindi pa ma-accomodate ng casa at nasa waiting list pa din... sana nga maayos din nila. Tama ka sir, sabi din nila pwede naman pa-QA sa TYT after.

    guys, ask ko lang doon sa mga 2nd time na nag-renew ng insurance. magkano po yung premium nyo for the 3rd year. may natanggap kami from my current issurance and they quoted around 10K plus. syempre without AOG na yun kasi nga dahil kay ondoy.
