Re: Avanza Body Kit Suggestions and Discussions

sir, talagang pamporma yung body kits, masama effect nito kapag masyadong malaki yung modifications katulad pg pinalitan mo yung design ng original na bumper, pero pag add-on lang then dropped by 2 in. ayos lang, sa rear naman wag lang i-alter masyado yung middle part. Actually yung mga body kits like chin helps down-forced at a certain speed.

sir, fiber material ginagamit ko, tapos na bukas yung front chin; for painting nlang, post me yung pix. kaagad.

sir, yung 80t - 120t wide body kits yun, madaming modification ang ginagawa: front and rear fender are flared up to 3 in.,front and rear bumper are extended plus add-ons like front and rear chin and side skirts then yung pinaka mahal (paint job). Eto kasi medyo extreme makeover, ginagawa lng ito pang car show and if your wheels are offset.
Kung pormahan lang pwede na yung wrap around body kits.....
* woohoo
you're right sir sa paint job talaga lagi nagkakatalo yung mga prices, sa ginagamit na paint. Ang ginagamit ko is K92 paints...
mga sirs for painting na yung project me na front chin, post me kaagad yung pix
Sir shadow pag may time ka pwede natin i-fit sa vanzy mo pag natapos kasi blue ang color na i-papaint me.....

Re: Avanza Body Kit Suggestions and Discussions
Pwede pala kasi the Panhard Rod is a component of a car suspension system that provides lateral location of the axle. This system is usually equipped on cars with coil springs as the construction doesn’t provide enough lateral rigidity, so the rear axle could move, undesireable, sideways. This creates issues on the vehicle’s overall handling and balance. That’s why we can’t find this rod on old Toyota or Isuzu trucks. They don’t use coil springs on the back side.
Now let’s say that the Avanza has a Panhard Rod with a specific length. And that rod connects the left chassis to the right part of it’s rear axle. This configuration doesn’t effect anything on stock spring length, or with a sports 2-2.5″ lowering kit, as the body could still travel in an acceptable arc length that doesn’t affect the balance of the car too much.
Now imagine if you lower the springs too much, or even cut it for the sake of lowering your car or creating a 1-finger wide fender gap, and you use the same stock Panhard Rod. Because the car’s body is now forced to go down much lower, the stock length of the Panhard Rod would inevitably push the car’s body to the left. I’m sure you’ll understand this if you remember how to figure out the Phytagoras Equation or the Pythagorean Theorem:
a² + b² = c²
If we use a shorter b, but the exact same amount of a and c, we won’t have a triangle with a 90 degree angle anymore. Now imagine that c is the Panhard Rod, b is the coil spring length, and a is the length of the rear axle. Try drawing that on a photograph of a car’s axle with a Panhard Rod, and imagine the effect after you shortened b.
A work around this would be by creating a shorter Panhard Rod, replacing it with an adjustable one, or simply by removing it. While the latter one is the easiest and possibly the most popular choice (assuming we don't know what the Panhard Rod does and didn’t know what effects it has), I don't really recommend it.
Might as well use a lowering kit rather than risk using the "putol" springs.

ask sir marfin...alam me meron na eibach springs for xenia, d ko lang alam kung ano code or part no.
