I noticed water marks in the car roof. I watch a youtube video saying mix vinegar and water but it is not effective in removing water marks in car paint. I also watch another video he use the MDR remover I look it up in Shopee but it is quite pricey. Do you have other known effective ways of removing water marks in car paint?

Yes po. Madalas kung may wax, madalali ang pagpag routine. Hindi maiwasan may maiwan na dust minsan. Naisip ko na lang extra protection sa UV. Hehe. Nakakatulong din layer of dust, sa dagta at ipot... Mas madaling i wipe off kung may dust layer.

Kaya madalas daily routine ay pagpag, punas windshield, windows, mirrors, spot punas ng ipot at dagta. Halos every 2-3 weeks lang carwash (sabay spray wax) lalo ngayon water shortage.

May baon din ako na water spray bottle sa driver side bottle holder. May water at car shampoo solution, para spot punas anywhere in case may dagta or ipot.

I have both NanoSliq and NanoGloss. I tried using NanoSliq sprayed it on the roof surface and hand buffed it but it is still there..... so I use NanoGloss put NanoGloss on it and hand buffed it.... water marks disappeared sligthly but it is stll there I have to buffed it more I guess. But is there a more simpler way maybe other waters marks remover that can remove it easily?

Puwede din, repeat ng sray NanoGloss at hand buff. Or babad muna sa NanoGloss bago handbuff.

Gamit ko na spray wax, TurtleWax Ice. Ang solvent niya, nakaka-alis naman ng talsik ng asplato. Gamit ko din sa headlight, taillight, windows, rear glass, at side mirror. Pang preventive sa stain, at disperse ng rain water. Hindi lang puwede sa windshield, at magchatter ang wiper.

Pinakamabilis siguro light polishing paste.

Okay thank u sometimes it is hard to hand buff and was thinking maybe I should get a buffing machine which will make it much easier. I just use the 3M micro fibre towel to handbuffed it using NanoGlos and earlier I tried wiping it with Microtex Chamois and the watermarks was gone instantly to my surprise.

but we can do this only so much, over many years, before the bare metal starts showing.
i have seen such effect, in my teachers' cars.
so i guess my homily is, do it only as a last resort.

but there is one scenario which i fear at the back of my mind,
"what if the watermark is sealed, between the pigment layer and the clear coat?

alas, i have been so lucky.
over the years, all we use is ordinary water, sometimes some soap.
our covered garage helps a lot in maintaining the paint.
but then, our car colors are silver, lately bronze and dirty white.
not too watermark-sensitive, these.

First time car owner (2021 nakabili) at noob sa car care.

Nasa page 12 pa lang ako.

Gusto ko magDIY carwash at wax. Nakabili na ko ng MTX Nanosliq, MTX Clay bar, Mother's Step 1 at mga microfiber cloth.

Yung claybar gagamitin ko sa mga glass at pang-alis ng stains (bird poops and sap) sa panels.
Yung Nanosliq at Step1, di ko alam kung pwede gamitin parehas. Kung pwede, alin po mauuna i-apply?

Ano po marerecomend nyong pwede ilagay sa windshield/windows para mabawasan ang watermarks.


Dami swirl marks ng oto ko galing sa carwash sa labas at minsan napagtripan ng mga bata na magdrawing sa hood (dami kasi alikabok).

Pang tamad, puro spray wax ang gamit lately.

Recently binigyan ng liquid wax. Ginamitan ko pang apply ang damp to wet microfiber pang apply para diluted at madali ma spread out ng manipis. Tapos iwan lang, pang tamad at extra curing time. Buti puti ang kotse hehe. Extra barrier na din ang light haze sa dirt, poop, or sap. Sa next wash or punas na lang ang manual buffing gamit ang damp microfiber.
