Mga boss. Tanong ko lang po kung okay lang bang i-apply ang nanosliq on top of collinite 915. At saka may waiting/curing time pa ba bago i-apply ang nanosliq. I'm planning to do it this weekend. TIA

I've done backreading but I can't get a definitive answer. TIA again.

Hi guys ask ko lang what do yiu use as a lubricant when claying your vehicle's?

I'M thinking of using soap and water kaya lang parang hassle gawa ng I need to rinse it and droplets could fly and leave some streaks on some panels.

I just tried using McKees Hydro Blue.

    Rinse-decon-rinse-wash-rinse-Hydro Blue-rinse-dry.

The product is very hydrophobic (think Collinite 845/915 levels) and gives a nice gloss. The car's surface is also very slick to the touch.

It's very easy to use: after rinsing the car (do not dry) spritz on a panel 1-2 times, immediately followed by spraying with water to spread the product (I used a pressure washer). I used it all over: paint, glass, and trim with great results. It's also economical, I used about 1 oz for the whole car.

It's the easiest sealant I've applied to my car, and it gives a nice slick gloss. I'll have to observe how durable it is, but with the ease of application, even if it lasts for just a month, I'll keep on using it. I'll likely try it in combination with my other waxes/sealants to see if I get better results.

nice, parang QD pero liquid wax type of protection ^_^
parang ganyan ko na ginagamit na turtle wax ICE wax naman. not as shiny as other carnuba base wax, pero longevity ng protection panalo. mali ko nga sinayang ko kasi yun unang 4 bottles, tinireat ko lang as QD LOL

I think you can also use this as a drying aid for maintenance washes. So rinse-wash-rinse-spray then wipe dry panel per panel.

Use car soap with wax and mix with distilled water ... not filtered or mineral water ...

Since i was free yesterday, i decided to clean my car & prepare it for the rainy days ahead.

It took me about 4 hours to vacuum the interior, bathe and dry it, & finally to wax the thing. In between syempre may meryenda at konting chat on the side [emoji16]

I guess its really 2 hours standard for 2 bucket/shampoo/dry/pressure wash.

    Here's my routine:

    1) Pressure wash first to wet the car
    2) Foaming (lance), wait for 5 mins for it to work on the dirt and grime
    3) Pressure wash to rinse
    4) 1 bucket with car shampoo. I use 5 wash mitts. 1 mitt per area of the car.
    5) Pressure wash to rinse
    6) Pat dry the whole car with a large MF towel
    7) Leaf blower for every nook and cranny
    8) Ultimate Quik Detailer

Done in 2 1/2 hours. Was 3 hours before when I used the 2 bucket method with grit guard.

Looking to reduce the time. Maybe, I could skip 2 and 3 and go straight to 4 if the car is not that dirty. I could also use another large MF towel for drying.

Let see if I could get this under 2hrs.

You could try the flooding method to dry the car. Pressure wash rinsing leaves a lot of droplets on the horizontal surfaces. Might save a bit of time in the drying phase.

For pre-wash soaking, I just go straight to foam, then rinse with pressure washer. That would eliminate 1 more step from your process.

But really, the best time-saver for me is rinseless washing (if the car isn't too dirty).

The flooding method really helps a lot to get rid of the excess water droplets. I find that I don't have to wring my drying towel because it's not that wet compared to before. Drying is much faster. This has shed at least 30 mins off which brings a total of 1 1/2 hours from foaming to drying.

    Total time : 1hr 30mins

    Done!

I skipped the quick detailer and just decided to apply it 2x a month.

For in between car wash schedule, I usually pressure wash the whole car to remove dust and pollution film. Then towel dry. Done in 20 mins.

    Thanks for tips guys!!

Yet another car washing technique that can complement your preferred car washing method (one/two bucket, 5 wash mitts, etc)
