Yep I'm concerned with the durability of the coat that's why I'm asking if there is any safe shampoo and QD for a coated car.
I've read some article na proper maintenance is still needed to prolong the life of the coat.
Hindi naman porket coated na yung car wala na gagawin or no maintenance na. ☺
this is my first car so I'm asking for advice sa mga expert sa coating. ☺

So far base sa mga readings ko I haven't seen any advise na water lang ang ang gagamitin for Coated cars. ☺

Ordinary car shampoos will do. QD for in-between washes and droppings.

Nothing wrong if you apply wax over coating, it is just kinda redundant. Plus I don't think wax will last long on cera or glass coated surfaces due to the hydrophobic or repellant nature of the coating.

Btw, what brand of coating was used on your car? Some brands have boosters or rechargers.

Am not an expert on the topic. Just my experience with a 1yr coated car. HTH

I use clay sponge and clay pads. They are washable, reusable, and cost effective. I stopped using traditional clay bars few years ago.

+1 on this and agree with red_one's comment.

But t still worth it overall

Meron bang life span in terms of storage ang clay bar? I still have one unused optimum clay bar that I bought probably around 2012-2013 during the "PinoyDetailing.com" days pa (btw, mukhang nawala na yung site na yun). Napansin ko kasi dun sa used bar, mahirap na syang iknead (though medyo matigas talaga optimum clay bar if compared to Mothers clay), saka nag break na sya into pieces.

    Try mo to bro:

Nanoskin Autoscrub Sponge Medium Grade - REFLECTIONS CAR CARE

You can ask him many things as well regarding detailing.

itll last if you wash it by 2bucket method. mabilis matanggal if washed outside especially if they use soap that is hella strong.

it will even exceed 5months if washed properly.

Di pa naman ako gumamit ng soap or detergent so far. Yung water spray then wipe ng microfiber, nakakanipis ba nang wax or top coat yon?
