Thanks Marz...Tried their services kagabi...merong tatlong nagpapacarwash pagkadating ko and im the last customer...medyo naligaw lang ako kakahanap sa area...for me 7.5 out of 10 sya...ayos yung process of cleaning nila na soak in water first then clean tires...babad sa makapal na foam and hiwalay bottom and top level ng auto...may QD rin before tuyuin...medyo diskumpyado lang ako kung malinis washmit and drying cloth at tsaka walang double bucket system...pero i must say more than the usual carwash sya...and i appreciate na sinunod nung carwash boy nila yung pakiusap ko na bugahan pangilalim dahil lumusong ako sa baha sa bulacan...

I find their car wash and rate pretty ok at may drivers lounge pa. What really annoyed me the last time was when the wash boys made me change slots dahil sira daw yung pressure wash nila dun sa slot na pinaradahan ko. Dun pa ako sa medyo dulo pinapunta at medyo masikip duon. Umalis lang ako sandali for around 15 minutes and pagbalik ko, what do i see? Btw, my car in the pic is the CRV.

I don't do tops for car washes unless they're under 100, which is then the rest is theirs. However, when it comes sa detailing jobs, I usually tip an extra Php100-200 sa nagdetail depending on their performance.

Pero nung nagpaclay ako, tatlo sila tumira nung kotse with carwash.

The quintessential detailer sa Banawe Won't be bringing my car there for a detail but their car wash isn't bad. I like Hyper5 in D.Tuazon more though... less crowded too.

Pretty good, that's my trusted car wash when I'm lazy to wash my car.

I always bring my drying towel (microtex elite).

Try the premium wash (120) they first soak the car in foam, rinse, then uses 2 bucket system.

I've been lately having a boner for steam detailing. It's still pretty expensive considering that conventional methods still use water + soap. For washes, I'll be staying with the conventional method. But for interior detailing, I'll probably go for some steaming

Venue is Xteam Worx at Pagataan Street intersecting Banawe and Biak na Bato. Not a fan of their location but the owner's quite knowledgeable based on my conversations with him. I'll probably avail of his labor services in application of my waxes and sealants I'm sometimes lazy at applying.

How's their service specially in steam cleaning the interior? And for how much?

Also, does steam cleaning the paint doesn't hurt the wax?

I do think my interior needs to be cleaned now

I can't remember the prices but from my recollection of briefly browsing through their pricelist, prices are the same with the detailers around Banawe. Of course, what we need to look out for are the discounts ;) I believe their steam exterior "wash" is around 200 pesos though which is twice the regular price of a car wash. I might be wrong though so best to ask and call them directly (hanapin niyo nalang FB nila haha)

From conversations, steam detailing works by melting the adhesion of dirt and other particles on the paint which is then washed by a pressure washer of varying pressure although some "steam" shops go for steaming to microfiber cloth directly. Theoretically, it's a no-contact cleaning until drying although (like what we do while washing) some people tend to run their hands on the paint while the water's dripping down.

I don't think it'll hurt the wax naman as our carnauba waxes have a high melting point (minimum of 85+ degrees Celsius) and I expect synthetic sealant bonds to even be higher. Personally, if our car left baked in the sun for 8 hours and it doesn't strip the wax, I don't think I'm going to worry about some 2-3sec. steam stripping away the wax.

As a long-term precaution, I'll observe my rubber outside.. pero I highly doubt there's any damage done. Owner has stated that they can actually remove stickers... mga 30sec tutok lang daw sa steam and it'll peel off naturally

I haven't tried their interior detailing but a friend of mine has. What I like is the rather odorless cleaning. I'm definitely not a fan of "scented" interior detailing products such as ArmorAll.
