Agree. Knowing the owner personally, and knowing that he's a detailing enthusiast like us, helps a lot when it comes to trusting the shop with our cars.

BNT Auto detailing - along Zapote - Alabang road.

pumunta ako don for engine wash lang talaga and see if ano gamit nila and pano sila mag carwash then decide from there.

    kita ko lang.
    car wash
    1 bucket lang
parang may wash mitt naman ata sila
for drying gamit nila is microtex chamois, they use it by wiping the car to dry.

    for engine wash
    cover yung mga bawal mabasa
    use gaas as cleaner
    then shampoo
    tapos rinse using water
    tapos lagay ng dressing

satisfied naman ako sa engine wash, but didnt try their car wash service. tataka sila bakit ayaw ko pa carwash, yung isa tutuyuin pa yung mga talsik ng tubig using chamois, napunasan na yung ibang part pero pinatigil ko. taka din sila. hehehe

I just went here kanina for my headlight detailing/restoration. And since babae ako, takot talaga ako basta basta pumunta sa isang shop para magpagawa dahil lagi akong naiisahan or naooverpriced. Hehe! When I entered the shop, may nag assist na agad sakin. Yun pala yung may-ari. In fact, they even repair my headlights kasi pundido na at no extra charge! Ang saya! Hehe! Napansin ko, mura din ibang services nila like carwash and other detailing services. Sayang nga next month or by March pa daw bubuksan. What I also noticed eh parang lahat ng customers nila, ka chikka ni Sir Billy. But next time na magpapa detailing ako ulit, I will definitely come back! Sulit and good service. Thanks Hyper 5! =)
Very nice review. Mapabisita nga next time. Genki's in Banawe has a bad rep na on my checklist. It seems kahit nagrequest ako, they do not do the two-bucket method anymore but simply the spray-method. It isn't that bad naman as long as the wash mitt's clean but you can never be too careful. I'll try it by the Hyper 5 by the month and see how it goes!

    Hyper5 Detailing
    * D.Tuazon near that Thai spa :naughty2:

Okay, as I'm just a few minutes away from Banawe, I would say that Hyper5 would officially be my go-to car wash place in the area. I would still bring my car to Bluemile but for the regular washes, I'd go for Hyper5 thanks to the close proximity. I've been here 4 times as per this review's writing.

    Washing
Washing technique is pretty standard. As a business person, you should also understand that a shop needs to be efficient in washing cars. The two-bucket method simply minimizes the chances of getting scratches or imperfections while washing.. it doesn't eradicate it hence the procedure on the wash is what's important. As almost all of the car washes I've visited are now doing the spray-shampoo method, I won't be docking points anymore for the non-usage of the two-bucket method.

Wash seems standard. I didn't notice my eyebrows raising during the entire procedure. I did notice they were wiping my sunroof once with a saturated chamois (what's the point?), but I'm probably simply nitpicking.

    Waxes
They've recently expanded their wax collection with the inclusion of Collinite 845. It's an additional one hundred pesos from their standard waxing price. This means the price is at a steep Php500 as compared to my Php350 with Bluemile. Definitely better than TypeOne's "specially formulated" wax. I haven't taken a peek at their wax collection but it seems pretty limited... and I can say a can of Adams Buttery Wax also caught my eye.

    Services
It seems they specialize on headlights restoration. So if you're headlights are a bit blurry, go give them a visit. There's a Serenitea branch situated inside which is excellent for my milk tea loving nature (I order up to 6 milk teas per week on average).

Okay, so why them and not Genki?
    - Price. For some peculiar reason, my midsize sedan is labeled as "Small" for them so a wash costs me Php90 here compared to Genki's medium's Php120. The thirty pesos in savings adds up over the long run
    - Efficiency. Their wash procedure is shorter than Genki's. Some say this should be a con but why would it be if the end result is the same?
    - Owner's damn friendly. I like detailing shops that owners actually do small talk and even notice it's my fourth time visiting so I'll give props to Billy for that.

Next on my list is Elite Detailing -- which I'll visit later 8AM!

I heard waxdaddy offers waterless engine wash, that's better than the one that uses pressure washers (water) that may damage some parts of the engine.

Just a wash now and then, when I'm feeling lazy - I do everything else myself (polishing, LSP application, decontamination, etc).

The days indicated is usually a sign of good care. A lot of detailing products needs a curing time after all Although I've never availed myself of their services, I'm a fan of ZeroStain

For simple car wash, do you pay on top of the basic rate (tip)? If so how much? Car wash places I patronize ranges from a low of P60 to P100 (sedan lang).
