hmm NO doubt talaga pag b-new lahat sigurado malameg kahit anung brand ng car.

pero kung mga 1997 to 2000 i would say " NISSAN " dahil CALSONIC sila.
im driving a 1997 eagle pickup. downside lang, malakas sa gas consumption.

pero still depende sa maintenance ng unit yan not the car brand itself at dipende sa nagtitimpla ng freon, brand ng freon (my mga mumurahin daw e ), tsaka dipende sa oil kaya maraming factor

Ive experinced Mitsu, Toyots, Niss and Honds, and i belive Nissan iba ang lamig, ang tapang. We were using Nissan Bluebird, tanghali tapat with no tint and we were 4 in the car...sarap pa din compared to others.

+1...i love my new car, but the A/C system is weak compared to my last car, a Nissan Maxima.

Same for me.. My 3 year old Nissan pickup A/C is much colder than my newer toyota car.. setting is only 1 or 2. sa toyota ko I put it in mids para comfortable and to think mas bago pa ung toyota car ko..Nissan definitely has a good A/C system.

sa mga na-drive na namin/previous cars sa hellish summer months

eto ang ok ang aircon kahit walang tint sa harapan

    - Civic VTi, CRV 1st Gen, Ford Explorer EB

worse naman as in talagang hirap yun tipong tatagas talaga pawis mo

    - Civic ESi, Strada 2nd Gen, Chevy Venture, L300FB

yun sa ESi medyo given na talaga kasi exposed ang aircon vents niya talaga sa araw

i have yet to test our Hyundai's this coming summer season.

The a/c of our 1995 Ford Contour SE still works up to now with proper care and maintenance. It's not quite as quick to cool down as the much newer Sonata. But, it still can handle the desert climate. As far as I now, all major components are still original.

I'd guess, any a/c unit should be able to cool down decently as long as proper maintenance is followed.

compressor palang ng maxima namin malaki,e.."hitachi" ang original compressor,e. and it is the most expensive(asked before, ang brand-new hitachi compressor is worth 20-25T!) pinalitan na namin ng surplus calsonic compressor...ung JDM toyotas (sa liteace)DENSO naman(cheaper pero expensive parin(15-20T), malamig din. JDM nissans that i saw have the original -calsonic system->includes from condensers, radiators, fans, compressors,evaporators,etc...) mahal lang talaga ang calsonic parts pero sulit na sulit ..kahit ung surplus.

local mitsu and most mazdas, sanden lang,e...kias korean daewoo/sanden lang..cheapest brand.

kaya i opted with JDM surplus compressors kasi aside sa japan galing, original pa, malamig, i dont want to convert to the cheaper sanden,e...

wow.. totoo nga nissan.. sa bagay kaht yung stanza ng classmate ko lakas ng aircon kahit 1980 model... by the way any from toyota out there???? natatabunan na tau ng nissan..hehehe.. mganda at malakas din a/c ng toyota...

  15. #35
yup, true, JDM liteace ko malamig din kahit mahina na ang compressor(kasi pag long idle lang mainit, napachek ko na mahina ang bomba ng compressor, e 7-10 thou ang surplus na denso,e..if ever i'll keep this still papalitan ko ng slightly bigger compressor to accomodate the mini ref it originally have)

mga JDM delicas with its original compressor pa, malamig talaga, kitang kita mo sa labas especially at cold nights, kahit "1" lang pwede na.(nagpapawis ung metal hanggang sa labas-->daanan ng hangin sa rear a/c papunta sa ducting...)

Nissan is the best A/C system because their using Calsonic system. Mas malakas nga sa gas dahil malakas load nung compressor. Pero grabe naman ang almig. tanghaling tapat naka set lang ng 1 puedeng puede na.

I had a Nissan Sentra LEC PS for 8 years and the aircon worked like it was brand new. And I had no repairs made to the aircon system for those 8 years. No freon refill. Just cleaned the evaporator once.

The Honda Jazz has a good aircon also. Its still brand new though so not sure about its performance in the long haul.

Calsonic Equipped vehicles are fine. IMO, the dmax A/C system has one too.

I own a 92 Sentra. The a/c has been through a lot. Right now, the aircon is great. At night, i can put it on the lowest and we're already cold. During the daytime, during the sun's peak moments, it takes a little while for the entire cabin to cool down, but when it is cooled down, the aircon is great. The only draw back is that it eats a lot of hp, and eats a lot of gas! But when it's hot as hell, it's worth it.
