must be lucky ha? well not all get the best in their rides, but my brother who also owns a millenium starex and some friends with starexes all has praises with their aircons. sorry for those you know have bad aircons and those who open their hoods after a long travel. mines no problem bro.

I've owned a nissan sentra B13 before, thermostat setting was almost always at minimum to 1/4, about 1/2 setting lang kapag noontime and I was so comfortably cooled na. When i tried setting it to 3/4 to full, nagyeyelo yung low pressure pipe line sa engine compartment. So my vote goes to nissan sentra.

that is normal. magtaka ka if its the other way around.

what happens there kc is that pag naka engage a/c mo... 2 fans ang umaandar ng sabay... rad fan and aux fan. when a/c is off only the rad fan is running and subject to the radiator thermoswitch pa un <- thermostat ng radiator fan based sa temp ng running fluid within.

    so to sum it up:
on a/c: 2 fans running plus always on until the a/c is shut off by the a/c thermostat.
off a/c: 1 fan running and subject to the radiator thermoswitch <- which means the fan is not always running, only when it is hot enough that it engages.

    hope it enlightens you

    Best A/C?

my 7g galant (hehe, bias ba! ), walang tint 'to pero kayang labanan init, madaling maka-catch ikanga pag nabilad sa init. . My friends' accord, altis, frontier pickup (Nissan eh, trademark!), and EK SIR (grabe lamig nito!).

Nissan's have generally good A/C systems, pero the best na nagamit ko is yung sa '89 Toyota Crown namin dati.

    field shoot.

ibang klase. nasa gitna kami ng isang field, walang hangin. bagsak init. yung dust from the field nagki-cling na sa air, tapos may parang mini sand tornado na 500 meters away from us dahil sobrang init talaga.

    pls. enlighten me.

Our CRV's (2003) A/C is not bad. Our Starex' (2006) A/C has passed Summer's test. 9 pax under 12 high noon heat back in the beginning of May.

But nothing beats my 3-door RAV 4 (Dubai version) back in '97. It had no tint during the 4 years I owned it because aside from the pogi-points the A/C was ice-cold. Miss that car...
