Aircon Repair: Mario Reyes

Visited Mang Mario today to have work done on a pal's Revo SR.

Work started around 9am and finished around 2:30pm due to the amount of disassembly involved.
***Considering upgrading the MB100 with an additional condenser. Not sure if MM does that kind of work so I might try out the other shops recommended by Tsikoteers.

Mang mario loyalist ako before.. Pero nung may napansin na ako.. Hindi na ako bumalik..


Sa dami ng nagpapagawa dyan, ang famous line ng mga pumupunta "nawalan ng lamig eh, baka kailangan ng cleaning"


Meron ba nagpagawa dito na hindi na bumalik sa kanya?


Nung lumipat ako sa iba, 3 years na aircon ko malamig pa din, at hindi maingay yung expansion valve.

doc otep, tanong lng po if kaya ihandle ni mang mario 99 expedition.. Napacheck ko po d2 malapit sa amin, may leak po ng refrigerant sa system. Kalas dashboard daw po.. mga 4 days aabutin and mga nxt week pa kung titirahin kasi bakasyon.. gusto ko po sana one day lng trabaho, and mabantayan ko habang ginagawa baka malusutan pa. By the way, resident ko po kayo dati sa ust. hehe

Obviously these people don't even use a manual to disassemble your dashboards. Have you seen any reinvestment in equipment or re-training?

You get what you pay for. And one anecdotal recommendation isn't statistically representative of the overall service quality of said company.

So expect defective work from time to time.

LOL... Nonetheless, I'm sure tsikoteers are likewise thankful to guys like Otep who chose to share shops and info to help out. Being the shop of choice can be both a boon and bane really.

Haha. Nasa fine print iyan ng Tsikot, we are only here to help out. Your results may vary.

My father drives a similar Expedition and it gets serviced there also.

Tama it's up to us kung gusto natin pagawa sa mga na recommend shop dito, caveat emptor

ako alam ko ayaw ko pagawa not bec he's not competent but super hassle dahil mainit and roadside Lang. I'll probably die first before they even finish servicing my car.

Before when we're younger kahit saan pagawa kahit ma heat stroke pa basta mura ok na, but now that we can afford to spend a little more siyempre doon ka na Sa convenient.

Maayos nga yun kotse patay ka naman sa heat stroke.

Instead na makatipid mas malaki pa bayaran mo Sa hospital.

Kahit mga accessories installation ayaw ko na rin nakabantay, dati kung NASA driver Side installer nakaupo naman ako Sa passenget side naluluto na kami Sa init.

Ngayon bahala siya gawn niya pag hinda maayos gawa sila rin mapapaerwisyo...hehhee

Haven't had any a/c trouble for quite a while but a colleague had problems with the aircon of her Adventure.

Visited Mang Mario (on a weekday morning). Turned out to be a leaking evaporator.

Total tab (parts/labor) including rear a/c and condenser cleaning was Php7400. Forgot to ask if they replaced the drier also.

Work was done before lunch time.

Aux fan replacement and refrigerant top up this morning. Dami nakapila!

Need to return to Mang Mario. After cleaning ng dual a/c evaporator ng Crosswind 2 months ago nahilaw ngayon ang lamig. Parang kinakabahan ako sa kung anong papapalitan ah.....

Dagdag freon muna ginawa (for observation) dahil 4months (Jun pala nilinis) na rin after humina lamig. P300 sa freon +tip kay Ryan :D
