Just don't use a higher rated fuse, yun ang delikado. Worst thing that could happen with a lower rated fuse is you'll bust the fuse again.

But the best is still using correct fuses. Ginagawa ko lang iyan kapag wala talaga kong mahanap na tamang fuse (like the other day).

uh oh ... came from mang mario the other week and this was exactly what the guy told me to do. get a 15amp fuse to replace the 10amp fuse that got busted.

i agree with using the same, or in extreme cases of inavailability, a lower fuse. that way, safe ka pa kasi with a higher-rated fuse, mas maraming current na dadaan before the fuse blows out to protect the circuit, so greater ang potential for damage.

mga bossing ask ko lang.... may funny smell ang aircon ng pajero ko (parang amoy pawis) specially pag bagong on.... i checked the carpet hindi naman basa... i checked the condenser (yung may window for the freon flow) hindi naman bumubula so ruled out na ang low freon level.... nag lysol ako kagabi and even applied leather care sa seats, ganun pa rin... help!!!

pag r134a gamit ng oto mo probably may leak yan cooling coil mo . madalas pag bagong on ang ac saka lang malakas ang amoy yan ang symtoms ng leaking c.coil

ako rin maingay na yung compresor. saka nag-high pressure na yung aux fan ng aircon. magkano kaya pagawa nito?

Yung ingay sa compressor depende sa source (e.g. bearing, shaft, clutch, etc.). Yung replacement surplus aux fan Php1,500.00 SRP nila. Yung kinabit sakin DENSO din same as my damaged motor.

Nagkakaron lang ng additional labor charge kung mahirap kunin yung aux fan. Tipong baklas bumper, etc.

Kung papa-repair mo, nasa Php400-500 ang range nowadays.

me prob po ako sa corolla aircon ko
kapag mainit hindi sya lumalamig, pero kapag malamis (kapag umuulan malamig naman sya)
hindi pako gaano kabisado parts ng sasakyan kasi almost 6 months ko pa lang nahahawakan to.

napapansin ko:
umaandar naman yung compressor, nagwhi-whistle pa yung refrigerant (r-134a)
tapos kapag tumagal tagal nga, (depende sa climate) ganun status ng aircon ko.

have a good learning expierience with mang mario lately.i have a busted compressor when i forgot to replace my old dryer when it was cleaned, so nagbara sa drier lahat,tendency ng compressor is to work hard kaya ayun bumigay..i went to mang mario to have my compressor changed, he suggested a conversion(denso) since mahirap daw makahanap ng orig(calsonic) surplus para sakin.they made a good convertion though.but when i went up north ive noticed an annoying squeaking sound sa fan belts all the time.tried to tightened the pulleys 3 times pero ganun pa din.and one more thing,umiba hatak ng oto once na mag idle up na un a/c. parang bumagal compared sa nkalagay dati..now this is how i appreciate mang mario. i called him up and told him about the flaws(?)..and i honestly said na hindi ako satisfied,maybe dun sa pag convert. know what, he asked me to come over sa kanila.they checked the car,funny hindi lumabas yung squeak pero mang mario did a good gesture of returning my P7,500, at tapos ibinalik nalang sa dati yung compressor ko..i was happy and a little ashamed kasi nga nagsayang lang kami ng oras. but he said,"di naman natin pwedeng ma-please lahat ng tao eh"..well that's true, but stil i'm pleased with him kasi binalik nya walang labis walang kulang yung binayad ko dati..right now, i've changed my compressor back to the original(found it in evangelista,pasay),and even bought a new belt at ayun,gumanda na takbo.. pero one last question, baket may ingay pa rin yun fan belt?...WAAAH! (pero nato-tolerate ko naman na)

Bro, check mo kung naka align ba ang Pulley mo or check mo din ang tension ng belt.

Baka naman may anti-noise force field kina Mang Mario kaya nawawala.

Ako naman nangyari sakin, pagkaalis ko kina Mang Mar (after repairing the Sentra's resistor), pagdating ko dun sa main road biglang nawala lamig ng a/c. Pucha, ikot ako pabalik kina Mang Mar. Kapag malapit na ko sa kanila, biglang lumalamig yung a/c! So akala ko ok na, balik ako sa main road. Pagdating ko ng main road, WALA NA NAMAN! Mga nakatatlong ikot ako bale. Nung pangatlo, sabi ko bahala na kahit lumalamig diretso pa din ako sa bahay nila.

Turns out that stuck up yung compressor, kaya nung paakyat ako papuntang main road naiiwan yung compressor (therefore hindi lumalamig), kapag pababa naman ako and hindi mabilis ang revs, nakakasabay ulit ang compressor (lumalamig ulit). Kala ko minumulto na ko, eh. hehehe. Buti na-diagnose ni Norman.

Ang kaso hindi pa din approved yung funds para dun sa repair (red tape) kaya hindi ko pa nababalik.

Sige chieffy, balitaan mo ko. Try ko na lang na sabayan ka.
